We took the M5 back to the dealership last Saturday. I can honestly say that it was the most remarkable car I've ever had the pleasure of driving, if it wasn't for this fucking recession we could have paid off the rest of the lease. :sad:

Dude......Gay... I feel for you bro , this recession is gay dude its messin with my style. Anyways I can't begin to feel how shitty it must have been to see it go. But hey if you could afford it once you can afford it again and in a few years used m5's will be a decent value. I can kinda feel what ur going thru when I traded in my e39 for my y33 It was a a bittersweet day. Anyways dont worry if you loved it that much you wil drive one again

no, it's a single clutch smg, like the previous generation m3.

Thanks guys. I believe it only had a single-clutch SMG, but powershifting at high RPMs would feel like taking a punch to the chest. Those gears would really bang into place.

sucks to hear. These cars are so nice. I love driving them, but I don't like looking at them. But almost all the BMW's are Love/Hate body styling now...I just prefer the older M5's visually. Hope you get one again sometime. G/L
