we have almost the same opinions on most cars, but this car has it all! 


saw it in person at the shop as they were still opening, and now it looks even better! i might have to go down there, ( i live in duarte,) and get a paint job quote.

VERY very nice.. i saw it in person when it was in the works. i stopped by with Malik but you guys were sleeping or something.  

this is the nicest first gen EVER.  i really like the new front bumper.

very very clean gs.. never seen such a clean 1st gen.

what i didnt like about it before was that it sortof looked like it was being squashed in the middle with the big front bar, and i wasnt sure on the cutouts on the bottom section. but i LOVED the height and fitment.
 
now im undecided, its a lot tidier and cleaner, and no doubt the work quality is awesome, but the front wheels are sunk now, i guess that was for clearance issues? but there just seems a lot going on line wise and the big rear with the black looks like one of those sharks/fish that has a big mouth and sucks things off the bottom of the ocean floor.
 
all in all though i think in real life it woud look absolutely unreal...it wouldnt look out of place in VIP Style magazine now i reckon!

Saw it at HIN, lots of work put in to make the body kit fit, and the lines of the flares to match.. pics don't do it justice, the pearl is pretty dope in the sunlight...  :biggthumpup:

very nice work.  Looks sweet, I'm just not feelin 1st gen's.  but well done!

I love seeing cars get hardcore with the mods.  You can tell this was a planned make over and not just someone who found a deal on some parts and plans to blend a bunch of different styles together.  It is def modern VIP styled.  Nothing cookie cutter about this.
 
With that being said, there are few things that are holding me back from loving it but I can appreciate the car as a whole.  :biggthumpup:

Not feelin it. The body isn't proportional to me and the kit as a whole, just doesn't seem to fit the car very well.

oddly enough, i feel the same. i mean the work and execution is perfect. but i never felt this car had a nice flow at all. i wouldnt consider it VIP, but more luxury sport.

now that i take a 2nd look. it looks like its built from parts of other cars thrown on. plus that spoiler definitely needs a new home.

I can dig the car overall, but some things I would not have done.

Love how they are running coilovers though.

now i like it even more than before.before it didnt look complete.but now,it looks great!i like the front and rear bumpe design.but not really feeling the side skirts.mad props!

was it a lot of work getting that job design kit to fit the 1GS?   Curious because I've got a M35/Y50 and I was thinking the hybrid kit for the crown might work with it. Just curious about how much custom work it would entail?

^ Job design will custom make any kit they already have the molds for to fit any other car they make kit for... for example if you want your CLS kit to look like the hybrid LS kit they'll fab it together for you... if you want an extra set of fog lights or LS460 exhaust they'll do that too. it'll cost you though...

But Job design doesn't make a kit for the fuga at all.  Unless I missed it.

Honestly i'm not a big fan of JD, cuz imo their kits seem to be agressive. I love 1st gens, but prefer a more mild look, sleeker. Definately done right and much respect tho!

not really feeling the new look. i've always liked this gs but i've never been a fan of body kits on 1st gens. i love the clean curves of the stock body and have wanted one since they came out (now i have one). this version of the job design kit on the 1st gen just doesn't do it for me. the wheels and fitment still make me drool every time though.

Yea it's the OEM Aristo wing. I like the new look of this 1st Gen but I'm into the more milder look of kits. I love BIGGZ 1st gen that he had I miss seeing that car.

I dont know if this has been asked before, but what specs are the wheels on the 1GS?

Also, looking at the recent pictures of the Hella flush event, it seemed like the owner got newer wheels or just changed the barrel to a stepped lip?? looks nice...are those different specs too??

I don't know the specs, but I believe it got upgraded to 21s (step-lip).

The barrels were reversed inside out and are 21" now. 21x12 in the front and 21x13 in the rear.

I remember watching the youtube video on the Platinum VIP cars and liking this car a lot.  I wish you could clone cars, because I can't decide which is nicer; the before or after.

Agreed..that wing just kills it for me.  I can appreciate the work done to it too, but yah..maybe it's mostly just the wing.  The work put into it is great.

wow i bet a lot of money was put into this, but i'm not feeling it.  seems like the lines aren't that smooth, and it's just buldging in different areas. also that wing just looks weird.  just my opinion, dont take offense at it.
