'04 black/saddle ucf31/ls430...new member here

sup yall, what up, whats good, whats happnin'...

i'm a new member here from florida. name is warren.

I'm currently driving a black/saddle '04 ls430 ultra.

what got me into this style is that i always loved car customization, even way before i could drive. i use to drive a '98 suburu impreza, '00 civic si, '01 subaru wrx, '00 chevy tahoe, '00 cadillac deville, '01 ls430 and currently have an '01 integra along with the '04 ls...i'm almost 30 yrs old and driving a ricer integra just ain't cuttin' it anymore haha.

imo, vip style [B]to me[/B] = flowing clean lines, class, and every other related word and synonym for elegance.

i'm here to gain more insight on the culture and share whatever contributions i have to the site.

But anyways, I miss the caddy deville *tear*...honestly, now that i think about it...that caddy is what brought me into the big body luxury sedan world...which in turn led me into the vip culture. I know it's not a traditional platform or whatever but I would love to see a black deville/dts done up vip style...i've seen a few 300c's i thought were pretty dope. But my love for cars has always been with imports...so i picked up an '01 ls430:

I added tein cs coilovers...ride was very stock'ish but didn't go as low as i wanted...it's dropped all the way in the pic. Lesson learned: you can't get to the rear struts through the trunk. You have to remove the rear seat...Me and a homie removed everything in the trunk only to find out you have to go through the interior, smh.

I had to identify the wheel over the phone to get it shipped from the Lost and Found fedex wharehouse. And i gotta give props to [B]RaCinStylez[/B], saw pics of his early stages of his build with these rims. Those pics sealed the deal for me on these rims...

but then...i decided i wasn't satisfied with this set up and sold the car to my homie who's on here too: [B]Bippu Insanity[/B]. Here is his pic of the car:

^^^ so once the car was sold, i was on the hunt for an +04-06 ultra. I was searching all day everyday for weeks that my hands cramped up and my eyes started bleeding...found this:

So i drove 5 hours home in my new '04 ultra...was searching for a data systems controller the whole time...the only place i found selling them wanted $790 shipped :madgo:

Found a japan ebayer selling for 680 shipped...took only a week to get to me:

Beautiful car! You're on the path just ahead of me. I'm on the hunt for an LS430 Ultra myself. Gotta sell my STi first. My first mod will be the same controller and then wheels. Good luck. I'll be keeping my eye on this thread.

love the interior man, when i first started at looking for a gs to buy i found one like that in philly but it was a gs 300 and i really wanted a 400 or 430 but it diffintly made me think twice haha i would love to do that to my interior someday

Very nice start indeed I love the saddle and black combo looks super elegant and like mentioned all your cars look pretty clean stay on that track and I think you've got something...minus the Rotas ofcourse

good stuff man.. great pickups.  thats a pretty clean DC5.  it would be really sick if you just had some more jdm wheels.  but im feeling the LS cant wait to see more updates!
