blackberry curve 8900 - no internet?

It comes with hotspot wifi. I don't have the internet option on my plan but for some reason, i can't connect to the house wireless connection. I should be able to connect even though I didn't pay for the internet option on my plan, correct?

If i should be able to connect, what are reasons why I can't connect? I thought I did everything right setting it up on my phone. I did everything i could to try to connect but no dice! :sad:

I have a Blackberry 8820, i have no problem connecting with the wifi. Make sure you go to "Manage Connections" and turn the Wi-Fi on.
