Need Pics/Size of Tires on 18x9.5 Rim...

Does anyone have pics on how a 245/35 and 225/40 tire look on a 18x9.5 rim?

I'm trying to get a perfect set of tires for my new rims... they are 18x8.5/18x9.5, I would like a slight stretch for the fitment on the rims i have!

I could either go:
215/40/18 - Front
245/35/18 - Rear

or

215/40/18 - Front
225/40/18 - Rear

go 215/40 and 225/40

i had 225/35 on 9.5" Federal 595 up front on my S13, they hardly stretch anyway or they dont look like they are, but it looked okay. was a bit small tho, but i did it on purpose for clearance (needed it too).
 
if its for rear and you dont really need the clearance do like grant says 225/40 and maybe go something that stretches better than Federals, and you'll probably get as much stretch as i had anyway :P

FYI rears are 10.5 with 235/40.

i looked into those sizes, but the ride height isn't balanced and it will throw off the speedometer

225/40 does look nice, just can't many 245/35... also, how does 35 look dumb on 18s?

if its off it will only be off by a **** hair.... now listen to Grant... he knows his shit.... he may come off rude.... but I like him

if theyre both stretched 40 sidewalls it should balance okay. what susp have you got, can yuo adjust for it if it worries you that much?
 
as for speedo, just put the sizes into the speedo calculator and see what it says. if its a bit slow, you know you're not gonna be accidentally speeding so who cares :P

i have tein cst coilover, i wanna be very low... that is another reason for a slight stretch!

i know i can do 245/35 in the rear, but have to roll my fenders. So i might just do what Grant said; 215/40 and 225/40, i wish i could test fit tires...

The hell is a speedometer? I do what traffic is doing plus just enough to pass them.

Stance > speedometer =)
