Konig After Burner

let me know what people think of this wheel on a 2000 GS3 for a VIP look. I love the lip but can't tell if this would look good VIP style.

i need to find out how deep the lip is bcuz i want something deep...but let me know what you guys think...i really would like alot of input, bcuz i'm trying to do something really different and wanna know what ya'll think...'preciate it.

1300 could go a long way towards some legit wheels.
 
personally, i'm not crazy about em in authentic but i don't doubt they could work if executed right.
 
the konigs are like a drag queen. that mf'er might look, walk, talk, and smell like a b***h... but in the end you're still stuck with a pair of balls.

its just all i can find is like 2200 and i can only get like 700 for wheels and tires with mine

check out the vendors section, classifieds, rbwheels.com, memoryfab.com... there's a couple others that escape me right now.
 
you might not find titanium lips and it might be used but i gaurentee you it will be money better spent.

Yes...stop the copy.  Don't support knock-off brands.

the Koing lips dont look as good either. im pretty sure theyre like a neo-chrome type finish they acheive on those whereas the Rays are titanium.
 
neo-chro might be more hardy though to be honest, ive heard the Rays take damage if you daily them. but agreed, they arent going to look the part...

But anyways, the Afterburner has pretty much no lip. The All Alone is a nicer wheel, and has a massive lip with very mild specs, and the convex face used to get it doesn't look bad,

yes indeed. i was on a budget too, but instead of grabbing a set of sportmax or whatever, i spent 10 minutes on upgarage everyday then asked grant to pick up a set of eurolines for me. i spent LESS than what you're going to pay for those konigs (at least from that link posted) and got a much cooler wheel, imo.

To answer your question is No. I've been in and out of the VIP Style since 1989.  My first car was a 89 Mazda Sentia ( 929 S ). One of the first VIP Style cars I remember seeing in Nor- Cal.

Sorry to dissappoint you guys but I hav'nt had the konig's since last year or longer!! Car now has Stitch Evolutions. Thank's to Caoboy!!! I've had them on for about a year and a half? And yes I never really thought about it!! Konig and Koenig. Yes, got them conffused. Also Looked at my buddies Rezax and my Imagines and they don't even look the same!! Only thing they have in common is that they are webbed wheels!!! Might as well say that the Rezax are BBS knock-offs!!! or for that matter any othe web style wheel!! Since BBS and Epsilon were probley the first to come out with the web style!!!

Quit bashing the guy already. Meet him in person before you trash talk him. He's a cool cat.
 
If JP made anything else for his car, he'd have it. He's got like every accessory they have, minus the wheels.

He has a custom air system in the works last I have heard. I sold him the wheels so he could get rid of the Konigs, and they fit well on the Legend.

Those konig afterburners don't look right, and if you are trying to be 'vip', you might as well just say you are 'bippu', with those wheels.

ok for the OP i have seen a silver GS with the gram light wheels with the ti burnt lip and in all honesty i think it does not look good at all.. i had to give it respect because i like the wheels but for some reason i dont know if it was the car color or what it was but it did not sit well me or anyone i was with.  ive seen them on crazier colored cars and its worked like drift cars and stuff like that but it just didnt work on the 2GS
as far as the konigs as opposed to the gram lights.  each person is on their own budget and can mod it however they wish.  however there are the true enthusiasts of VIP who dont settle for less than the best because that is part of the reason that VIP is so rare and pimp because not everyone can afford to do it.  just my .02

anyway, i have seen the gram lights in person and i liked them a lot but they have a very small lip for the offsets. could look good on an " thinking out of the box" vip build
as for these konigs, i dunno, i think they are a bit tooo knockoff-ish
