Louis Vuitton interior? Doable?

Been thinking about re-doing the roof in my vehicle in the Loui material, diamond stiched in white. 
The pattern would be black on silver detailing. 

This is for a JZS147 Aristo.

Anything is doable..that's a personal choice, not one we'd make for you.  To me it says DUB..but that's merely MY opinion.

fair enough. DUB isnt really a style we have here in Australia. And i agree with you, but is up to how you pull if off, i believe that if the rest of the interior matches then it could look really good. Im thinking black doors with the factory aristo leather done in white on the doors, and front/rear seats done in black with white insert leather.

i agree with elpres, sounds more dub than anything. i dont mind it personally, but its not VIP.

i see it in vip mags fairly frequently.
 
my problem is 1) lv print is just straight up feminine and 2) unless you're cutting up legit lv goods it's lame.

I would class it as V.I.P not dub (whatever that is) because i have seen it in japanese VIP tuner magazines. As i live in Australia we get alot of jap parafanalia.
And BLKonBLK: Hell yea its femenine, but with a 12 second v.i.p cruiser, its like a bulldog chewing a wasp. so it could do with a little elegant, femenine touch. ;)

The interior and trunk are two area's where you can do anything you want.

its definately doable. a friend of mine retrimmed part of his leather in his HSV Grange in LV Material, looks awesome too. the chicks will dig it too.

meh, one i dont care for LV material much. if i ever did a designer fabric id do a dark color gucci like black on black or maybe just maybe a tiny amount of burberry.
two, stitching over the material is going to be busy looking. unless you do a single diamond tuck stitch. then [I]maybe.[/I] trust me i have a busy ceiling myself lol.

do what you feel, its your car. i do actually like the black silver white theme. especially if it matches the rest of the car.

Any thing is posible with the right amount of money

What is V.I.P.?  I know what "vip" is...but we're not talking about very important people here.  I hope you aren't getting confused...  It's "vip" as in sounds like whip, not "vee eye pee".

what does 'vip' (puts on wank japanese accent) stand for then? is it an abbreviation? what does it translate to in english?

If we don't correct you from the start, we're not doing our job.  It's not a Japanese word, so there isn't a translation for it, but it isn't an acronym.  It's just a word that defines a style.

I was close to doing a Coach interior for the hell of it, but instead opted for something else. When my interior gets done (if ever since someone is lagging.... damn family) i'll let you guys judge it, hate it, and love it hahahahaha Mike knows where it's going hahahahaha :innoutrofl2:
 
 
but any of those prints will beg for some other type of styling, just because it's done in Japan doesn't always translate as a good idea... i have yet to see one person here try on the spaceship look of that one red car in the magazines over in Japan.... anyone have a pic to add a visual? hahahaha

i dont think its dub at all. although i would not stitch my headliner with LV. i would do suede for headliners and diamond stitch little stuff like door panels, seats, and armrest. Just do a design, i think its a little tacky if you do fake stuff like that.

just make sure its a clean job. hope to see it come through =]

Diamond stitching..good, Loui as part of the car (and not your wallet or girls bag)..bad.  At least to some of us anyhow.  To me it just screams you're trying to floss some G-funk...not scream luxury.

some like it, some hate it. some are whatevers. i'm one to hate it.. 

IMO, "designer" fabric loses the integrity that it is "designer". designer stuff is expensive for a reason, and it really isn't because it's handmade in italy or france, and it's really not about the material whether it's coated canvas (louis vuitton and burberry), jacquard (gucci) or ostrich, sea ray, shark skin, or whatever.. it's about the fact that it's made to be exclusive and available to the "elite" -- something that i would think would also apply to the vip style as well. 

as they say, if you have to do it, do it in moderation. headliner may be a bit excessive, since there's quite a bit of it, but i think it would look half-decent on the door panels and/or neckpads. maybe the center arm rests or stuff like that. personally, i'm not a fan of faux-designer fabric in cars.. i'd rather have the louis keepall in the backseat than a faux-louis on the seat stitched in.

Yea, should have been more precise.  Was thinking the sunroof section (material covering the glass. The sun visors in loui. In brown add gold. Then the rest of the roof in the same brown, with same gold in diamond stich. Def not something im putting any planning into, just looking for ideas. :)

i dont dislike the idea, but the fact that you wont be using authentic LV material (since you cant get authentic material) makes it so much less desirable. maybe thats just me.

i got a friend that has double g gucci all inside his g35....looks nasty. but its whatever you think will look good on your car  just do it

I like the idea but to get the necessary amount material for a car interior would require you use that fake cheap stuff.    I don't think you got the dough to buy some Daimler canvas bags and cut em up

Chris had his GS400 done with the LV..Same exterior color as your's Bob..looked nice  amazingly ..I was shocked

and would Not be Considered Current on Any 
Style of Car Even Donks Consider this as Old Steez

I would Redo My Interior in Plush Black Full Grain Italian Leather.
I have seen many use Different Animals, 
But I wouldn't Attempt This because 
I want my Interior to be "Simply Luxurious".
