Hi....Looking into getting into the scene

Hi guys,

I'm a new member from Socal and now feel that VIP tuning would fit my daily driver needs. I'm not really new to modding cars, but am new to VIP style and tuning.

My current car is a:

1993 Mazda Miata with the following specs:
- Mazda Crate 1.6L motor
- Alaniz full Competition Port & Polish
- Mahle 1700 overbore High-Comp Pistons
- ETD Rods
- Knife-edged Crank
- Megasquirt PNP
- Supertech valve springs and titanium retainers
- Tilton Clutch/flywheel assembly
- Full Jet's Integral Kobe exhaust
- Maxim Works Header
- Fuji Racing 45mm IRTB setup
- All -AN fittings with stainless lines
- Garage Vary front air dam
- SSR MS1Rs 15x9s all around w/ Toyo R1Rs
- Stance GR+ Coilovers
- Voltex Wing
- Scoot-replica CF hood
- OEM hardtop

I used to also have a fully-built S2000 which I sold (money for the lexus and track-oriented parts for the Miata). I love racing!

But as you can see, my car is no longer streetable in its form especially with the nasty CARB laws here in Cali. After getting a "modified emissions" ticket here in California just last week- I finally decided to take the Miata and strip it down with full cage for track duty.

I work in Sales and have to drive around clients and I think my coworkers are a bit fed up with my borrowing their cars to drive customers around lol

I think VIP-styled cars would provide the relief I need from a daily driver, but still be stylish enough to fit my "modding" side.

I'm currently looking at a few GS300s (Second Gen) in Socal. I hope to learn alot from you guys!
