Electric Daisy Carnival 2009

Anybody hittin EDC this year? First time its going to be a 2 day festival.

Might go & will be my first. I'm not too ape shit about this scene, although most of the homies are.

wow i remember i went to EDC like 5 years ago.. it was pretty crazy.. and the headliners werent as big as this one..

this will be my first EDC, just waiting for the Bassrush headliners to be announced before buying tickets.

I can honestly say, I have never been to a rave.  

However, show me a reggaefest and I am there.  (or some hawaiian bands like Katchafire / Three Plus)

saw some you tube vids the stages looked insane ...

i saw some pics of it today, looks like it was a crazy event.  i think i read somewhere that 95,000 people were in attendance. wtf!!!!! now that's just insane.   i went to the ultra music fest in miami this year, i thought that was frinkin crazy and there was just 60,000 in attendance for that.

^^^ same thing with my buddies they went to UMF ... but they said this beat by 1000x's 
 
I was reading that it was completely sold out and it was over 100k in people.. now that is insane ... 
 
 
but he also told me some crazy things about some aids group sh*T  that kinda doesnt make me wanna ever go to a rave ... not like i have gone to one, in a few years ..

this event was shit. thousands upon thousands of people. half of which dressed like underage ****ty hookers lol. 

they had to  block off the coliseum because it was so packed...so people started jumping from the balconies onto the field. there were people rushing in so security were literally tackling and spearing people. 

it was awesome.

crazy lineups but daytime.... :\

yes ,daytime does kinda suck. you cant really call it a rave if it doesnt go all night long. the key is for it to be daylight when you finish the party.  anybody know what time they shut it down for the EDC?   i can only imagine the clusterfuk of people trying to organize themselves and leave all at one time.

it was 4-2am in friday, 4-4am on saturday, I left at the very end, got onto the freeway within 10 minutes. 

but damn thousands of people crammed onto the sidewalk it was nuts.

edc was fucking ridiculous... so dope. our hotel was like 2 blocks away and we got there at 530!! LOL. but it was cuz everyone was hella seperated

so they let yall party till 4am.  not too bad.  at ultra fest they kicked us out at 12 midnight, but the party continued on till 7am in an old movie theather revamped into a club that was just a few blocks away.  it was crazy watching everybody rome the streets of miami dazed and confused.

There was 2 or 3 people that tried to jump over the fence behind the Drum N Bass stage. they ended up getting knocked out by Dj subflo and Frayedknot.

Man, i wish i went. My whole group went and what not. But it's all good, theres always a next time.
