Does anyone know who owns this car?

I was wondering if anyone knows the owner of this car. I have a few questions regarding the suspension and wheels.

Haha, well I "owned" it for a little while, but the owner before that and after that doesn't really come on here any more. It was on air if that was one of your questions and yes, those are Lexus SC wheels. That pic was taken years ago..as in many.

Finally!! I'm so glad I found you. Can you tell me what mods you did to get the wheels to fit? Did you use spacers? I was thinking of putting them on my 1991 Q45a. I'd love your input.

it doesn't require any 'modding' to make the wheels fit...add spaces to make them sit more flush...that's about it...

thats crazy. 2 post after 2 years.

get suspension work. then test fit the wheels, measure the gap in millimeters at the height you want your suspension to be at. choose the spacer you want, calculate your tire sizes. roll/cut fenders and all other work needed.

That is the first time i have seen those pie plate sc430 wheels look good for once.
It must have spacers as teh offset on them was so weak that they practically were inside the wheel wells by 3 inches on an sc430 .

I haven't posted because I've been struggling to get my car back to oem standards. The maintenance has killed me. Try owning an Active Q45 and you'll understand what I mean. Thanks for your imput. I was hoping to get a response from the previous owner of the car sharing what he had done and learn from him. It doesn't look like he had to roll/cut fenders.

I haven't posted because I've been struggling to get my car back to oem standards. The maintenance has killed me. Try owning an Active Q45 and you'll understand what I mean. Thanks for your imput. wow. i saw this post on nico and couldn't help. didn't know it was yours mike. those sc wheels actually look really good on there.

i'm sure mike will chime in on the setup, but you could probably bolt those wheels on with no mods. making them fit is another story and spacers/fender rollin is a necessity.

Well, at that point it was on some custom strut/bags. Here is what they look like just bolted on:

And as you can see, super Battleship..so yah, you'll need some big spacers to get the stance right. I can't speak for that whole set-up, I only remember some of the details. That was quite a while ago too..

Thanks so much for taking the time to share. I'd love to see other pics of this car with those wheels if you have any more. What I'm after is figuring out what it would take to get the SC wheels on my 1991 Q45a. I've never used spacers and have no clue where to start with sizes and measurements. Any suggestions/advice is greatly appreciated.
