STOLEN RIMS (socal)

i had my rims stolen last night right out of my backyard. the guy had the tenacity to come check out my car and rims offered to buy asap. while at school he keeps texting me to get my schedule to see when ill be home so he can come by and pay for the car. everytime he set a date he would flake on me. its the third time hes done this in a week. im certain he did it. i only showed it to three people and the other two were friends of a friends. i feel played like a fool and taken huge advantage of when i offered such hospitality to him :pat:. i hope as a community i hope we can keep a look out for these uber rare amistads dishes and bring him to justice. i freaking hate craigslist. im sorry for the rant.

You got his number, time to head to the police. That really sucks that people are so shady...

it's sad but I saw this coming with the popularity of VIP rising.  It's only a matter of time before people stray away from stealling hondas to start jacking these rims.  Considering the fact that wheels are easier to take than a whole car especially if you have a crew with you.  On top of that the sales of these stolen wheels will move much faster and are far more lucrative imo!

i want to call the police but i have no proof you know. it sucks but i mean what can you do. im past angry and now just kinda upset with the way some kids turn out. i mean the week before i got called out by high school kids to fight in front of my gf. IM 23!!! but i dont want to pass judgement and let karma do its thing. to me sometimes being a man is being able to walk away.

I feel you man, I had my car broken into awhile back. Do your best to bring justice into play, you can say at least you tried and not let those losers get away with it. 

I am really cautious when selling or meeting people I do not know. I usually find a nice lit busy place to do a transaction and NOT at home.

1. FILE A POLICE REPORT!!!!!!
 
2. Tell the police about this character and give them all or any info you have on this guy including his cell number
 
3. Let the police know you aren't wasting their time with this and are willing to testify in a court of law against the person who did this, even if you don't receive your property back.
 
 
These are the motivating words that will let any law enforcement official know if he does his job right you won't let him down by flaking and letting this guy go.
 
PM me some info on this guy and let me see if anyone I know has heard anything.
 
Always sell away from home, and always tell them you'll meet them in a public area.
 
As for the rest of you guys, remember that most alarms now have the option of a tilt sensor and proximity sensors.... they work especially when combined with an angry owner running outside with a loaded piece.

yeah it was unfortunately. i mean i was absent mindeded and didnt think twice. the most painful part was seein the fear in my moms eyes not knowing if they gonna rob my house. we had a murder just a couple weeks back in the neighborhood so shes pretty scared.

That's some shady shit, i'm pretty sure we'll be seeing these wheels posted up somewhere on the net, or maybe the f&cker is using it for personal use, what ever it is. Hope you snatch him.

its amistads dish (f) 19x10 +10 (r) 19x11  +10 offset. only three rims are good the other rear is messed up from a freak accident. and no hub covers cuz those were in my garage. thanks alot for the all the support. im a firm believer in karma and know hes gonna get whats coming to him.

The thing is, knowing those offsets and how they are missing the center caps, i highly doubt these rims are going to go far. Someone is going to spot them in an instant. Sorry for what happened. Like what URMYHERO posted, give us some more info. Stupid stuff like this happens here in VA - DC area as well. My damn stock motored daily civic got stolen 2 times and they didnt even take the Regamasters and buddy club suspension, they took the headunit and the amber corners... second time around took my damn vents, carpet, SOHC shit motor, and stock seats. WHY? stupid thieves. My 240 got 1 out of 4 work wheels stolen. Yea, so i definitely feel you bro.

That suck i had some idiots who try to take my wheels too but couldnt messing up my center caps in the process not saying it would help but it would have slow them down i hope you find them and give them all a VIP AZZ KICKING
