Another Mercedes on Hydraulics

Met this guy at a car show about a month ago and he was really digging my hydraulic setup. I hooked him up with my brother at Hydroholics and the rest is history. The 17s will soon be 20s  That's right, laying unibody! =)

must.. work.. harder.. need.. juice..

Your brother is SUCH a straight guy. He really knows his shit. That set up is the miracle suspension. Max drop, donk clearance, no bags to rub, AND a great ride.

Rides great. As you can see, there is much more suspension travel, so the car absorbs even the craziest of bumps.

The ride can be adjusted if you use slow downs for the accumulators. By restricting the amount of fluid that can pass through to the accumulator, you change the ride. Unrestricted, the car drives like a Cadillac. Very soft and cushy...

LOL. Now they have triple sealed cylinders with a polypak seal. I have gone two years now on my original seals (and 25,000+ miles). Hydraulic technology has really come a long way.

And what does a setup like that cost these days? Is it cheaper than air?

After buying batteries its about the same price, if not slightly cheaper then air. The benefits over air however... no bags to rub means more clearance... since there is no compressed bag in the way when dumped you get extra dumpage... the clearance is pretty serious... it's not tricky to find a leak (and leak issues were solved years ago)... no air tank or air compressor (!!)... much quieter then bags... drill 4 holes and bolt shit in for install... you can play for much longer intervals...

is that enough? I mean shit if you aren't satisfied at this point i'll tell you what else it can do... take one of the wheels off, lay on your back face up with your pelvis under the brake caliper, then, using a wireless motion controller, raise and lower the actuator with a fleshlight bolted to the rotor. You get 5 minutes to make pleasure juice before your cock is on fire. Can't do that with your air can you? CAN YOU??

I apparently deleted the email but I had a link to a vid where a 350Z with the suspension hits one of those bigass yellow speed bumps FAST like it didn't matter... and it didn't! That's what sold me on it. I'm saving up for the 3 pack haha

OCKlasse, do you know what video i'm talking about?

That Benz looks nice laid out like that. You never see those modded. Hydraulics seem very versatile, but I can't get over the noise it makes when you're raising or lowering the car. My air bags are pretty much quiet lifting and deflating with the dump valve silencers.

When they are put under a thick piece of MDF flooring, they become very quiet
