How much is your car worth stock according to KBB?

I checked the value of my car 2002 Infiniti Q45 and it is crap.   Around $9K for good condition private party with 105K miles.   I can get the same amount for my 2004 Civic Si with 65K miles.    Depreciated 50% over the last 2.5 yrs.

Private party, suggested retail, or trade-in?

Private party mine is $11,000.   In 4 years right about 20% depreciation.

I lost over 20k since I owned the car.  Sucks but I enjoyed it.  Never gave me any mechanical issues.  At this point, I rather burn it then let it go for anything near book value.

and for a 99 Q45T with 102k. is valued at $6,810. so true but so sad... spend more on mods than the value of the car. haha.

i think most of our mods worth more than our cars....to a enthusiast of course. other wise our mods worth shit too.

ugh tell me about it. i got mine for almost 30k or something like almost 3 years ago. now the car is worth as much as the kit and interior.. without labor >.<

Yeah I noticed that too! I lost like 1/2 the value on my F50 in about a 2 year period. One of the reasons I couldnt sell my F50, unless it was a cash buyer, nobody could get enough financing to pay off my loan. So I man up, re-fi'd my house, bought the car outright, and now I'm gonna build it up and keep it until I'm old and smelly.

Seems ever since the economy took a dive the value of everyones car went down. I'm hoping all these bad experiences with loans and stuff will cause people to slowly convert from a credit/barrowing mindset to a cash/owning mindset. If that happens, I think the KBB values won't be as important anymore; Things will be worth what people think their worth and not what the KBB says.

For my SEL there wasn't the opinion to click for the condition it's in. So I guess it's worth nothing according to KBB :( and that was as a 1991 cause that was the oldest I could go.

My GS on the other hand is still worth $240 more then I paid for it 14 months ago. I did buy it last year in december and called them out on it being in a accident so i'm not surprised. However given the current shape of the car I bet I couldn't get $5,000 for it haha :(

2003 Nissan Altima, 68K miles
paid $20K, worth $8,015 (owned for 6.5 years)

2005 Lincoln Navigator, 41K miles
paid $26K, worth $23,175 (owned for 1.5 years)

2008 Mazda 5, 8K miles
paid $27K, worth $18,990 (owned for 9 months)

Seems like the KA9 is my best bet.

I am going to get my car appraised asap and Shoot for 45k total  ;P 

Anything better than full coverage works for me
