F50 owners on air

I've been reading as much as I can on F50s and UAS.  My G35 UAS kit should work on the Q45 with new brackets in the front.  Can owners chime in with their thoughts on how the Q handles air suspension?

Do you have sport suspension or not?  Do you have that little button that stiffens your struts?

I was just visiting a friend with a G35 today.  Be warned the front suspension is completely different compared to the F50.  

The best route seems to be coilovers + air or just bite the bullet and go Air Runner

Well according to UAS the only difference is a set of brackets for the front which is cheap.  They said I can get a new set of shocks for a better ride, so I may do that.  Or get coilovers and use the UAS kit too.

just get coils. new shocks cost a grip. mine were 700 for the fronts at a hook up discount. definitely would have went coils if i knew just the fronts were like 850 and the rear was like 400! oem struts are too soft. plus they need modding to get low.

There is no cheap way around dumping a F50 or even modifying it.  The F50 and Y34 will remain rare because of the cost and availability of parts.  The end results may be worth it IMO

F50 has spindle type struts so replacing them is never cheap.

Agreed no cheap way to mod a F50.. damn it so much for knock off parts lol.. I have air runner and its more than enough for what I wanted.... UAS is as good as the install/installer (like any air kit of course he he) :biggthumpup:

UAS is only as good as the struts the bags are on.  The bags themselves are great as well as what comes with the kit.  If you have old stock struts, don't expect the car to ride like it would OEM
