Aftermarket Rotors/Pad Question

Wasn't sure if I should post here on in the other Section.  I already got me a set of Aftermarket Cross Drilled/Slotted Rotors but they are "warped" (e-bay special, yeah I know I should of known better)and I got some major shaking going on.  Being that brakes are "kind of" important I am looking for something new.  I know that I have the option of getting some factory rotors from Servco Toyota but figured if I am going to be spending money anyways I might as well spend a little more to get a product with better stopping power.

On my Nissan that I used to own I ran Brembo Slotted/Cross Drilled Rotors and Hawk Pads.  They worked great.  But as I checked to see if they had anything for my Egg I realized that they do not carry my application.

Anyone have any suggestions...........my Egg is a 97 which does not have ABS.  I am just looking for front Rotors and Pads.  Forgot to mention that I am not looking to drop big dollars to do a BBK set up.

What exactly is an egg? If you had the year make and model of your vehicle you might get more responses. 

Ive got an SC300 which is a pretty heavy vehicle so I demand alot of stopping power especially when I turn it into a single turbo beast this year. I used to run factory blanks on a pad that can give a real mean bite and flushed my brake fluids regularly. Still I wasnt quite satisfied with the braking power. I made the upgrade to 2000 Lexus LS400 calipers which have larger pistons and can hold a larger volume of fluid. The rotors were also much larger in diameter. For this setup I am running a set of ceramic pads for a mean bite and a set of slotted rotors. Crossdrilled rotors never really caught my attention because of the problems they can bring. If you are a track driver you can crack them if you run them too long. For city driving they are great because they help decrease your braking distance but the thing I dont like is that they cool down too fast causing them to warp. You're basically looking at a rotor change everytime you do a pad and fluid change. I'd stick to slotted for longevity and performance.

all that drilled and sllotted is hype anyway. well... not all hype but i'd rather have quality blanks (brembo) than some crappy slotted/drilled. those ate slotted might be worth a shot though, i tend to trust at least a decent product from tire rack.

My bad......the Egg is a Toyota Previa and my year is as stated above 97'.

I actually did find Brembo Cross Drilled.  Or would you still recommed the "Blanks"?

i would never use cross drilled personally. drilling weakens the rotor.

I know that Brembo's "strategically" places their Holes but with the Amount of Holes=Less contact for the Pad to grab.  It might run cool......just won't stop.  LOL  Just kidding, I'm sure that they did their homework.
