What size and offset are you running with the Weds?

Yeah I always see people use the blue tape instead of the white. I guess that the best thing to do would be to put a good coat of wax down then apply the tape so that if you do have to scrub something off the most you'll remove is wax.

Well guys I couldnt find the blue tape at the time , but that tape wa actually less sticky then the blue tape but once the heat from the sun hit it , o jeez ,

eastwood sells the white plastic that manufacturers use now. just noticed it flippin a catalog, that's why i mention it.

sorry to hear that it turned out to be a pita but damn how long did you spend putting that tape on and then how much longer did it take to get off. atleast you protected the paint some what

oh and crazy hawaiiain why would you do that to yourself and everyone else in that car the only thing that could have made that ride worse would have been to get sloppy drunk the night before of bad beer (PBR or cheaper) and that would have just added to the protein salad and fiber ... uh ... air freshener. Glad I wasn't in that car and once again bippu hope the paint is safe and shined up with some new wax to make it shine after you worked so hard to save it from the street debris

That's why I am so against this stuff.  If you can't drive it without looking like a mummy, have it towed.  
 
This is not a personal attack because alot of guys do it.  I am very very against painters tape, clear bra or any other forms of paint protection.  Raw dog baby!

wrong type of tape, use blue painters tape or green automotive tape...

Actually that tape was a 1 day tape , but once the sun hits it its sticky the blue painters tape is a 3 days tape but None sticky

James, u crack me up. Anyways, try ArmorCoat [[url]http://armorcoat.armorauto.com/][/url]. Andy uses it on his 300c. It works great but the body shop must be experienced.

+1 -- i take the Q to san jose and i do it bare, hahaha. my thinking is the car is meant to be driven, so why care so much about a few paint chips? there's more debris on the road when i drive the 10 freeway to go buy a calling card than the 5 freeway to norcal. *shrugs*
