How many of you get water caught up in the wheels in rain
I know I'm not the only one that has a crazy vibration when I drive in the rain. Is there any way to prevent water from getting caught in the drum of the rim? I know some 3pc wheels have slots to let water out but not all.

I think my lips slightly slant outwards so never really had that problem. What rims do you have?

I had this issue with my SF Winnings, My SSR SP1's were great, Wald Duchatelets were so so. Maybe its the full face trapping the water when it pours.

Happens all the time. Not in a great amount though. Just gotta rinse 'em out with clean water, and dry them off with an absorbent towel/Absorber

the problem is amplified when you have a lot of negative camber.
Just look at my sig. You could imagine.

It doesn't cause me any vibration, but there is always a big puddle inside the wheel behind the spokes on my Work's when it rains. Luckily, it doesn't rain much in So-Cal though. When I wash the car, I have to use a towel just to soak all the water out unless I do it at work where I can use the air gun to spray it out.

Here I am wishing I had the problems you guys have . But that vibration does sound strange. Is it all over or a specific wheel/side of the car? might be something specific, like your left rear wheel just friggin hates water =)

the water gets caught in the channel on 3pc wheels. usually comes into play when you go past 65 in heavy rain. The vibration is from the water rotating inside the wheel throwing the balance off.
I called lexani (autocouture) about this and they said Oh this is a known issue on these wheels. Don't speed in the rain was their solution.
My SF Winnings, Autocoutures, VIP modular all do this in the rain.
Note:- The VIP Modular and Autocoutures have the same barrell. Just the face and the lip is different. Must be a common supplier b/w the companies.
