bmw 7 series wheels on q45? fitment

trying to get a handle on y33 wheel fitment, basically what i am going off of is other members on here's fitment, since nobody else on other forums really has anything that i would consider a good fit.

but im trying to figure out, on the first one, im guessing coilovers or bags, stock camber link on the suspension? and looks like a roll with a very slight pull, if at all.

second one looks like unmodified fenders and i know its on tein springs.

for my case i will be running the tein springs, but i am not scared of rolling my fenders. i dont plan on doing any large pulling, not that i have a problem with it, just dosent go with the style of the car imho. also wont be getting any aftermarket links so i will be working with the stock camber curve.

for the 7 series wheels the sizes are
19" x 9" +24 front
19" x 10" +24 rear

soo -25 offset for the pcd adapter (does anyone know where to get pcd adapters thinner than 1 inch? this would help a lot)

puts me at -10 compared to the first car and -21 compared to the 2nd car

apparently some of the 7 series also had 18x8.5 +20 which would be -7 compared to the first car

for the rear it is not so bad, compared to the first car only -1 lower so practically the same.

the front is what is erking me though. im no stranger to wheel fitment but i dont have a lot of experience with this chassis. i mean i think i can come up with 1cm worth of room, thats like jack s***, but if that first car is running like camber plates and stuff i wont have the same access to that.

im *thinking* that the fronts can be rolled/pulled a bit more than on that first car, and i can probably shave the backpad down a bit since oem wheels are probably pretty beefy. can also probably shave a few mm off the pcd adapters. so if i can get ~5mm off wheel and spacer then im in the clear but i dont have the stuff to look at so i wont know until it shows up (if i buy it).

anyone have any info to add? mainly info on the first 2 cars would be very helpful, and also if anybody has seen any of the bmw wheels to tell if i will be able to lathe a few mm off the backing pad would be great

basically when it comes down to it, im only going to be as low as the 2nd car, *kindof* low. it wont be tucking tire so it will fit and the car will be able to drive, but i dont want it to stick out all whack style. haha

bmw 7 series wheels have a bolt/lug pattern of 5 x 125, whereas a q is 5 x 114. so it would seem that "shaving off a few mm off the backing pad" wouldn't change the different patterns...

Dorimon owns the 2nd car. Mines on just rolled rear fenders, Tein springs. Im not running any aftermarket camber correction parts. Just maxed out the stock stuff.

Those wheels are gonna be tough to pull off correctly. The offsets after adapters will push it well beyond the fenders (front and rear) If you slam the shit outta the car and let the camber do its thing it'll pull the rears inside the fender, but youll be left with the front poking.

oh shit lol, that first pic i found must be a photoshop. that makes things less confusing. by dress up master springs do you mean s techs? cause that is what i was planning on going with as well. that is good news since i can more accuratley judge wheel setups off your car.

are your front fenders modified at all? for the rear it looks like youve got it pretty well maxed out but im sure i can mill off 1mm from a brake rotor or a spacer or somthing to get the offset down to where you have it, if not even higher. the front it looks to me like you have some room, and if you say you havent rolled the fronts then that is also good. looks like i could go 5mm lower in the front without too much work, and i assume i can take off 5mm combined from the back pad, brake rotor, and spacer. sounds cool

Not only that but you can use a bolt-on spacer/adapter to make them bolt right up...like so:

that photo is a p-shop, its sits a bt higher than that. everyone seems to quote my p-shop pic as its how the car should sit. As long as you dont touch the brakes your golden. I couldnt slide a business car inbetween my wheels and rotor once. 25K miles w/ zero problems there. The fronts are totally unmodified. Honestly I could probably go out 10mm to even the front to back ut. But seeing as how im selling the car im not spending money where I dont have to.

With my current setup I could run 19x9 +0 up front on stock fenders, but with about 2-2.5 degrees of camber. The wheels in that case would be flush with the fender. As far as the rear goes...you will need to add some negative camber or keep the camber where it is and pull your fenders. Either one will work.

The only thing is that the car needs to be low for these wheels to look right. At least that's my opinion.

this is funny because I've been thinking about doing the same thing on my GS till my Works get here.
