Just a little rant, Last night me and my homie dipped out to a party and he decided to take the Jag, Oh man. This thing is sexy, I was sitting in the interior and was constantly tripping out. There were definitely haters, flossin black on black 20". Definitely a beautiful car.

Jaguar actually beat out Lexus this year in terms of reliability.

I do not believe this.... My business is right next to a Jaguar/Land Rover dealer. Literally. Anyways I don't believe JDpower or whatever rating system they have or any other rating companies...I just ask and listen to people who have owned the cars. MANY times I've bought a car they tell me about a survey I'll get emailed or whatever and if I bring it in and give it to them they'll give me a free oil change, free car wash, free tank of gas or some kind of discount or freebie. Even Mercedes last month when we bought a Eclass.

I've driven the Xf and I must say Jag is starting to come back strong. I think these would be a much better seller if it wasn't for the economy.

i agree with blitz on some of the american car rating systems. seems very biased. lexus/toyota quality has been slipping slightly, but not by much.
i dont believe that buick and jaguar are at the top though.

Well they did make slight changes in the test. They stopped using windshield wippers and other little misc things in their testing for issues.

Honestly..I hate when people bad mouth Jaguars and haven't even owned one. There have been problems from time to time, but what car doesn't?? I've had less problems than all the Nissan and Toyota counterparts have had. Then again, my car was still built at the Coventry factory in the UK before Ford took over, but ever since Tata Motors took over, things have REALLY been looking up for the brand image and its' reliability. Prove to me the ratings are no good?? Then we'll talk...

They jumped from #10 (2008) to tied at #1 (2009) with Buick.... ummm yeah. Jumped 9 ranks up to tie for first in 1 year. Lexus/Toyota have been up in the ranks for some time now and most people would agree that they are highly reliable cars. Doesn't make sense to me unless they are making and getting parts from totally new suppliers/factories. How can they in 1 year all of a sudden they are one the most reliable cars. If they keep up the ranking for atleast 3-4 more years then I might look at the company less negatively.

I'm bored...nothing going on here in VSC. Check everyday and no new posts. Well atleast the one's I'm interested in. Finally a post I can maybe put my 2 cents in...
I admit the XF looked really cool but the Jaguar name still held me back. I don't like the front of the car. Looks too chrysler stylish and somewhat cheap...but the rear is slick. Doesn't match front and rear styling. Looks like two different cars mashed together. Interior looks nice but I don't know about all that gadgetry. Does the vents really move up and the i-drive thingy when you start the car? Things like these I question in the long run. Too many moving parts means just more things that can break and go wrong. However it does look cool.
