ATTN: Hispanics

I see a lot of Hispanics shake their hand, like they just smashed their finger. Or you know how when you were a kid, you would shake your hand and make that clicking noise b/c of your finger flapping against each other? They usually do this when they hear a story and laugh or hear something shocking. What does shaking of the hand symbolize?

I know what you're talking about.  I think it's just a way to release excitement.  Because it's used for alot of expressions.

I finally found out!  I was told the shaking is done in diff ways for diff countries.  Mexicans do it when they hear someone rip on another person and then shake their hand to show how severe the rip is.  hondurians (such a word?) do it when someone gets hurt.
