350z + UAS + weds

another one of the RE members, giggles finally got his parts together and was able to get them on the car this wknd. i helped for like 30 seconds then took pics lol. i just wanted to post up these pics to kinda show it off...i think he has some of the best wheel fitment on a Z (or any other car for that matter) that ive seen in a really long time.

whoa!the front is perfect!!!and i love those wheels!keep us updated.

looks dope..i think hes up there for best z fitment..but i can think of two other z's(prashants and dude with rainbow lips) both from norcal and rocking amazing fitment..one of those being on coilovers by the way.

never quite understood why it was such a big deal to block out the offsets...can you list them please?

i wasnt there when they were doing all of the suspension work, just caught the end and the trunk install. sorry =(

For distributors, its all about competition and business. If they release offsets people would go somewhere else and buy the wheels for cheaper, if he doesn't say then people have no choice but to buy from him. 

As for the consumer, sometimes they don't even know the offsets LOL

if someone buys a set of wheels and doesnt even know the offset wtf are they doing building cars? and who would really buy a set of wheels without knowing the offset no matter who you buy it from? I dont see that being real good business ethic..

he can say he just doesnt want people to know his specs because then they are just gonna buy that same size and get the same look..so no longer will his shit be "dope"..say what you want and make as many excuses there is..some people are just stingy with specs...as i was a bit and probably will still be..although there is enough info out that people can find out. if they just do some research.:shrug:

I mean, it's not like that hasn't been done before or anything?  A 350Z squatting with mean offset wheels was done years ago.  Not to take anything away from this car, because it looks good, but it's nothing spectacular to some of our specs/standards.  I too ran shops and did aggressive fitments left and right.  The important thing to do is to tell people the work it takes to get fitment like that in the first place, I would always just tell them you can't just throw an 18x9 -6 on the front of an unprocessed Z32 fender when they would look at my old Z.  Same goes for the 18x10.5 -19 rears.  May not seem like much for Z33's since they have far more fender to put wheel under (but go ahead and try it on a Z32), but you get my point.

Just informing customers is what's important..educating them.  Think about it...

those sizes arent crazy..i was running 215/35/19 on a 19x9 and 225/35/19 on a 19x10

General must run pretty wide then.  225/35/19 on 19x9.5 ST115 was stretched enough to put a coin between the flange and the bead!

newer nissan and infiniti always can do low disk as long as no brembo.

oh yeah plus you can tell it is not high disk looking at the pics.

I didn't make the pics bigger.  I thought he had the Brembos.  If he did, he would need atleast a mid disk
