Are they bullet proof?

What's with the Joystick on the 'stang? The steering mechanism is right above it, right?

This link explains that they did it for recruitment, they have had a hard time getting enlistment and they did the car to get people to join.

since the car is a one seated, do they promise new recruits a ride in the car around the circuit?

Epitome of Failure: When your air force turns itself into pimp my ride to boost recruitment.

it was suppose to be a joke.... I do know they have ground guys that take over airfields, setup communications and secure them before they start bringing troops and vehicles in by plane.

The instruments were probably parts of decommissioned planes that can't be used anymore. And the paint is probably left over from planes too.

Want more recruits? Have beautiful sexy women in their booth and pass out "papers" saying that it is for a "Raffle" to win a date with one of them. But in actuality the paper is to enlist. LOL Hey.......don't deny it, SEX SELLS. Once again notice the "LOL"

+1 on a waste of my Tax Money to have them spend it on something like this. But at the same ime, a big thank you to those who are currently, formerly and are planning to serve our Country to serve our Freedom. I only became an American Citizen about 4 years ago (been in Hawaii since I was 2 Months Old "Green Card") and I am Proud to be an American.

Just to throw it out there, I might be enlisting in the Marines soon. I am talking to a recruiter on Monday to take a test to see what I might be able to get on the SAT. If I do good enough I will stay and go to school to get a degree and then enlist to go to Officers School after basic. But if I don't do so well I will enlist anyways because I will make PFC after basic because I did Boy Scouts and a program called the Young Marines. So I will be six months ahead of everybody that I will do basic with.

you would be surprised how many e-3s there are, the armed services also have a "sign for six years, you will be an e-3 after basic" deal.

Another route is go to college and enroll in ROTC, after you achieve your degree you can be commissioned.

For OTS, the type of degree has "play" in whether you being accepted or not. Technical degrees will help you like aeronautic engineering, accounting etc.

What I did was that I went to college and got my Bachelors (didn't realize we had ROTC in my university) and then I enlisted, am planning on going to OTS within the next year or so. I am trying to get BTZ, and all other sorts of awards etc, to make myself more competitive as well as working towards my second bachelors.

The test to "get" into the military is the ASVAB. I scored a 93 "the top 5%" but then I went to see what jobs were available with that score.....well let's just say about all of the jobs USAF-wise 97% of them only required a ~50 and below.

Also you will need to take an officer qualifying test.

ahhh trying to get the ole "below the desk" award huh? haha. im prior enlisted (got out as a tech sergeant E-6) and i dont know why the USAF is trying to get ppl to join when they were implementing "force reduction" before i got out. they were paying officers a huge severence to get out and any enlistment members who got into trouble were kicked out or suffered extreme consequences for minor infractions. i guess that is why they were trying to have less employees, to build cool cars to get more ppl to enlist.......?
