can a Golf variant be made VIP ????

Hey!
So im a new kid to this forum and my question goes...
I got a 1994 VW golf variant. Can this car be a VIP style one??? if yes what do you usually start with on such a car???

welcome to the boards.  now your car could never truly be a VIP car because it all starts with the platform for it.  however yours can definitely be VIP inspired and/or VIP Styled.  with almost all platforms it starts with the stance.. good luck

Haha, somehow I didn't even look at the year!

A golf could never be made vip or even styled for that matter.  What ever you do, it will come out looking Euro style.  Not that its a bad thing, you just won't get the label your looking for.

Keep it euro'd, it falls in the same 'category' as VIP styling anyways. Low stance, wide wheels, poking.

hmm ok, first off thanks for the replies it reeeally helps, so how about this, is making it vip "INSPIRED" bad? or just f.... it and dont even waste my time on it:shrug: since it is not a vip platform but only a crappy variant lol

If you want to modify your car, then go for it! Like others have said, it will never be a VIP car because of the platform. Also I think euro scene and VIP scene are very similar when it comes to stance and wheel fitment. So if you get the stance right and wheels in right sizes, the car will more than likely be euro...unless you go with traditional VIP wheels. 

If I was you, I'd stick to euro styling on this thing. Get some 16-17" BBS or Schmidt wheels that are fairly aggressive, and slam it on either coils or bags. Also pulling the fenders will help you fit lower offset wheels. While you are at it, look into different headlights and a euro lip since it sits much lower.

Here's one for reference, it has smoothed front bumper, pulled fenders, boser hood. This car is euro, not VIP...but you could argue that it has VIP car stance (even though I think both have same idea and standards: low and wide)
