Wow, How much they charge to flare your fenders out? Are they going to paint it as well? I recently had my side painted to take care of a key mark and now I regret not pulling them before painting..

Saw it on the blog, didn't speak on it but DAYUM, lotsa work going into it and it all makes perfect sense to me. I think you made the right decision. In my book more low trumps everything. But it doesn't end there with your build. I've been anticipating this build since I first saw the pics of your LS with the blue glass.

When you drive the car and the person behind you asks "how is that even possible, the wheel is going to destroy the fender" Thats the point. Flush at drive hight when people see you, and tucked when parked. I guess some people are missing the point

car is really nice. I have to agree with the flare though...Doesn't look quite right imo.

Pictures can be very deceiving... I love the look... Rolling around as flush as a toilet and getting love from a wide spectrum of miscellaneous people is what it's all about. When an OG in his 60's says that the car is out of this world means a lot, specially since you know they've seen a lot in their life time. When soccer moms at the local BJs or Costco crash their own Minivans with their shopping carts because they can't stop staring is just insane. Do what you do Tommie... Enjoy the whip... Comments will come and go... you can't please everyone.

There is so much more to VIP than whats on the surface. The car was built to have it all go together. The style of the wheel, offsets, kit, supporting mods and style of the flares. This style flare was done to work with the rest of the car. In no way do the quarters or fenders look out of place. Matter of fact, most people will not notice that they have been touched. We will get you guys a video of this car along with a few others, at the car show. There is so much you can hide in pics with the angles you take them and photoshop. You get a better feel of a car in a video.

What's with all the bitching? The car is fine, if that is the parked height, and the wheels aren't even tucking that much. Better to be tucked a teeny bit, and flush at ride height, than poking out all nasty and flush at park, IMO. What, you guys all want radiused fenders now? Tucking isn't cool anymore? We CAN judge the car by these pics, we dont NEED to see it in person. it has nothing to do with the tuck, its the fender flare it self. I was the one who started this, seeing as to how i was the first one to give a "negative" comment, but speaking for myself personally, ive already stated many times, on both forums, that this car is still shaping up to be one of my favorite state side builds. No one who has given criticism has been bitching, so iono on what basis your comment stands, caoboy. There are those saying that they arent feeling the rear flare, and those are who are saying "youre all haters and dont understand." When my car is done, it will be done how I think a flare should be done. that doesnt mean everyone will agree, and that doesnt make my car better than anyone elses. You not only offended the owner of the car but everyone who got work done at the shop and the shop its self. Lets keep this civil before it gets locked.
i'm ridin' w/ bahc on this one. nothing he said was offensive to anyone being objective. there's absolutely no reason to take it personally. execution is something that is constantly examined and praised/criticized, just as it should be. i've spoken my mind on every single car to previously come out of dream makers with this type of fender work as well. on this one i bit my tongue a little because we're cool and i know how much is invested, in both money and planning, into this build. we all know that i even raised the issue [I]on this particular build[/I] before the work started because i had such high hopes for the outcome. i still want you to enjoy what you worked for, but belittling ppl because of a difference in opinion is just going to bring the heat. offending "the owner, everyone who got work done at the shop, and the shop its self" isn't any different than offending everyone with similar opinions by calling them haters or saying they "don't get it". if you're happy then the shop should be happy they pleased their customer, and the same goes for everyone else that got their work done there.

Fender line = subjective details. Some like it some don't. The fact is the car is one of the sickest this side of the pond. I don't really know about the hating thing but the fact that you've made only 1 backhanded positive comment would have me believing the same thing.

All the cars at done at that shop can all roll with 0psi in the bags. I personally prefer the line as well.
I don't get it...if we don't agree with it...we're "hating" and therefore are "haters"...LOL So anyone with an opinion of "that's hot" is right...and everyone else is a hater? East Coast (lots of Liberty) has some dope cars, to say this one is the "DOPEST" this side of the pond is questionable.
