Killer bro... seriously, that is incredibly fresh. Think I might like it a lil better then the Japan version.

Hit a brother up! We got a schedule to lock down!

Thanks everybody!

It took me ~12-15 hours to do. I was not working fast on it. I went into the project like "well, if it doesn't work and looks like poop at least i'll have a new grill in 6-9 months." so since there was no pressure. The sanding where the fins were took sooooo long. So, so, sooo long.

I drove past this boarded up warehouse today and snapped a few pics. When they get approved i'll post them up. They really give you a better idea of how the grill looks in the car. You can't really tell from the rushed parking garage/parking lot pics I took.

And yes, I know my body molding and door handles are 'grenade green' the guy I bought the car from did that. I'll make a build thread eventually with before and after pics. I could do a video DIY but I don't have a camera. I have been dying to put together a bunch of DIY vids but haven't had the time/equipment.

haha we call them fiberglass trays now. Didn't you hear?? They dun blewed up... couple times in fact. Unsalvageable. Finally admitted defeat. Downgraded from baller to bum. Though being able to get rid of the ramshackle GS for a Y34 without having to pay anything was quite the spirit lifter. We'll leave that story for the build thread. It's a crazy story, but it has a happy ending. Except, it's not like a asian masseuse handjob happy ending; its like a getting swarmed by the state patrol at 3am, then the next day the guy sends you a text saying he totalled the car, then you go see it and its all fucked up and he's putting in poly truck lifter spacers in the coilovers to raise it back up because the wheels that are on it are supposed to go on a yukon and 255/35-20 is way to fucking big and destorying the fenders and tires and somehow when he went nuts the windshield got broken all the way up it but its ok cause he's getting a %50 tint black front windshield but in the end you keep the car happy ending.

I tell you one thing, I can sure as hell pull apart a headlight housing now. I'd do something crazy to the M but god knows something crazy would happen and i'd end up with one headlight with grill burns on it. Though who knows, maybe I will mess with it. The headlights are already kind of warped because the main beams power supply box burnt out so the guy was driving with his highbeams on all the time at night, just angled down. ... ... ... I know, tell me about it. Grenade green paint on all the interior and exterior trim pieces. Forced me to play my hand a certain way by making me paint the handles and trim black but I like how it's turning out. It's nice that it only needed tiny things for me to be happy driving it around.

Well done for putting the effort in and getting a well made custom piece instead of some chicken wire covering the grille. :)

I just pulled the grill off and went at it. The grill looked bad before. The emblem fell out before I bought the car and the dude I bought the car from spray painted it gray at close range. :saiyancrunks:

Agreed. But in all fairness the front is missing a little of everything right now when I get it all together it should be something different to say the least. The car should be done in the next 2-3 months. I'm still working on the interior. Stupid surfboard resin has to be shipped ground only cause its a hazardous chemical. I have a ton of interior pieces to wrap I want that stuff to show up already!!
