Noisy front tyres - inside bubble? or..?

hey dudes,
 
i have had my 19s on my car for quite a while now with no issues really to report. however, the fronts are quite noisy and my suspension place told me its just the coilovers (insurance 10k/6k) + tyres (Nexen 235/35/19 on 9"s) + my hard damping combining to make it noisy. The noise is pretty much only around 20-25km/h (12-15mph).
 
if i coast it makes the noise, and if im braking as i pass through the 12-15mph region it makes the noise, and it sort of undulates slightly as in, it isnt a constant hum. I thought it may be wheel bearing, as it does sound like it, but there is no play that i can feel, and it doesnt seem to change the noise if i am turning left or right.
 
So, i constantly have a fear of tyre bubbles. I daily my car and once every day i drive over Train Tracks which are quite rough and i can't always go slow (50mph road) so i am afraid i may have caused some damage to one or both of the tyres.
 
My question is, how do you diagnose bubbles? is there any easy way to tell? i have jacked the car up and slowly spun the wheel around whilst looking at the tyre from one sidewall across to the other and can see no irregularities. Just wonder if people who have experienced bubbles could let me know what it is like/what to look out for.
 
sorry for my topic being somewhat vague, but i do want to know how to detect bubbles and thought i'd give a bit of a background to why i am asking in case it sounds familiar to anyone.

Out of curiosity have you checked your brakes? (specifically the pads)

if the bubbles are bad enough, you will feel it in the steering wheel. if its bad enough, the steering wheel will shoot to one side, and will oscilate really badly when released. drive slowly and you will feel the car going over lumps.
and you cant just look at the wheels. you have to take them off and visually inspect the inner sidewalls. you will also have to visually inspect the tread patches by rolling the wheels on the ground.

So how long do you have if you have a bubble? I just found a 1/2 inch one on my front tire and my spare (see avatar) needs a new tire.

ive driven on bubbled tires for approximately 3 weeks average. ive gone through many bubbled tires. personally i think it depends on the speed you drive, and how long you drive, because ive noticed that the longer and faster you drive, the larger the bubbles will get. in reality, if you think about it, the more heat created, the more the bubble will expand.

try swapping out stock tires on the fronts and go for a drive.   If noise is still there you can rule out rim/tire and look into bearing/brake/suspension.    When my tires started wearing down it gradually got louder.

elpres - i am unsure on the brakes, from memory the last time i had it serviced they were "ok", i think down aound 30-40%? so probably toward 30% now i would guess. If i jack the car up and spin the wheel, the front driver side spins quite freely with a slight scrub once as it turns, but the passenger side scrubs quite loudly as it passes a point on its rotation. so that could be something to consider...
