Questions to M45 owners

First off Id like to introduce myself. My name is Walker and im 22 Born and raised in hawaii. Hai!

Im sure you guys are tired of NOOBS and NOOB questions but ive already tried seaching 10-15 pages back and came up with nothing.

Anyways, I have a few questions bout the M45, as I LOVE the way the car looks and plan on getting into one very soon.

1: Whats the chassie code for the M45?
2: Whats the best/reasonable priced coilovers availble for the M45? oh and which ones slamm the most =)
3: Whats the average MPG for the M45?
4: Whats the perfect widths and offsets for Poke stance? (pictures would be nice, post if you want) Id like to think im known for pushing the limits on my current car (UA6 3RDGEN TL). The most agressive ive gone on it was 19x9.5 +10 19x11 +17 width a stock wheel size of 17x8 +45 LOL! I know, you guys must be thinking im crazy stupid for running staggerd wheels on a FWD car, thats why I want RWD now, or is it AWD? shit idk that leads to my next question.
5: Is the M45 RWD or AWD or is it available in both? :pat:

Thanx in advance!

Walker... I see you've found a new home

it would be nice to know what year Infiniti M45 are you interested in???

1. I know that the 2006+ is known as the Y50 (FUGA in Japan)

2. I think you should go straight to AIR... UAS makes a kit that would run you between $2000 and $2500 depending on Air Management... If I'm not mistaken... coilover setups for that car are close to that price and don't drop/slam the car much...

3. Who cars??? this is VIP Stylin...

4. This question will get really trickie... Let's just that the fitment is the SAME as your 3rd Gen TL :runcoold: and the fender on this car don't have a lip to roll...

5. as of 2008+ the M45 has an AWD version designated as the M45X... the regular 2006+ M45 is RWD...

Good Luck and Have FUN...

air runner has a kit for the 2006+ M45 for about $4500. Like we chatted earlier and you said you are going to do it right so start off with bags. From now on i will buy only cars that have bags available for them.

No lip to roll doesn't really mean anything other than you get a wheel spec that clears the quarter panel and you're good... unlike the TL... you get a wheel that barely clears the quarter panel and you need to roll/cut the lip to avoid rubbing...

Another thing is that you can just PULL the quarter... but be carefull when doing it... You know about bodywork... you'll figure it out...

WTF??? All you guys are giving UP on y'all TL's????

some would argue that coilovers are the "right" way if you want to go super low, but that's a topic for another discussion.

M45 will cost you around 25-30K depending on packages and mileage.
Coilover starts at 1000 to 4000 for bags.
There is no fender to roll since it comes that way from factory, you'll have to pull (look at batmobile's car).

20x9+30 20x10+35 is the limit without fender mods on the Y50 (unless its bagged and you have major negative camber).

And yes, freshalloy.com has a the biggest M following.
