My intro and build; 95 GS300

Hey VIPStyle folks,

My name is Rob, hailing from NJ, and I own a 95 Lexus GS300. I've been an active ClubLexus member for some time, but never ventured over to this forum, where VIP is truly brought about. (sorry if the pics are too big)

I've done many modifications to my car, and at one time I thought it could be considered 'VIP inspired', but after I read all the stickys and threads concerning what VIP truly is, I've come to realize my car is not VIP inspired, that I've 'cut corners' on various things to see the project done, and that I should not call it VIP because it could cause others who know nothing about this scene misinterpret it. While I love my car and understand the Aristos VIP origins, I won't claim it to be what it is not.

I'm not sure if I myself have the time, money, or patience to build a VIP car, but the one thing that keeps drawing me back to this scene and style is not the luxury aspect of VIP, but the emphasis on keeping everything CLEAN! to keep everything flowing. and to love what you've built.

So while I am introducing myself on this premier VIP site, I'd like to make clear that of all the initial things I've learned just reading through the posts, I know my car isn't VIP, and probably won't be, but that I do understand and appreciate what VIP is and I know one of the main gripes of this society is people don't understand what VIP is.

Thanks for the education, and I hope to continually be inspired by the VIP scene.
