My LS400

What's up fam,
I've followed this forum for sometime but just recently decided to sign up and become a member. This is my LS400 that I'm building. I had a set of Works on but recently cracked one of my rear lips (pot holes =(), so I threw on a set of hr-3s for the time being. It's headed to my bros shop for a new coat of paint in the coming week so I hope to post nicer pics soon!

Snapped a shot real quick last night. Pic came out super yellow because I got hassled by security and didnt have time to change my cameras lighting settings =(.

Car is at fender to wheel height in the pic.

Just recently picked up a luxury exhaust system from Japan that a friend is sending my way ( Looks exactly like the Dual Muffler Dual oval outlet AimGain but is some other Luxury tuning brand. )

Also working on body working and covering up the ugly JP rear bumper lights and side markers.

I was thinking about picking up a hood mascot and grill to give the front some spunk. I'm thinking that a chrome trim black interior grill would look best on my car instead of a full chrome/billet

I was looking to pick up one of the gold hood mascots from that guy selling his JP collection but all he has left is gold, and gold seems to be a very challenging color to integrate since trim is silver. Any one have suggestion about this? I know grill choice would have alot to do with a gold hood mascot matching up, but maybe silver would just be the best choice.

Sorry guys car is in pieces right now. Doing some work & respraying it black. What do you guys think about flake? I'm thinking about it but if I add a bit of flake the paints not going to have as much depth. If not just straight black and a ton of clear for depth. The wheels are 20's all around, and the car actually isn't slammed all the way in the pic. If I slam it the front bumper is on the ground. I'll probably create a project thread and take pics of the repaint and stuff. Thanks guys.

Thanks bro. Sorry that I haven't posted a load of pics yet. Just been really busy and time hasn't permit. It is my car though..

And if you're asking guys from Hawaii to vouch you probably won't find any. I haven't really been out and about to VIP meets and stuff but I've been in the car scene in Hawaii for some time. Used to have a track rolla back when drift sessions were around, but since we have no track I decided to dabble in the VIP scene.

I know a lot of the VIP guys in Hawaii go to Samson at revision. When I had my other cars I would actually kick it at ENDLESS Garage which was right across from Samsons old location in Mapunapuna. I'd go to him since he's a wiz with electrical and audio work.

Here's a cool video my friend Keone from Kai Media Hawaii made showcasing the 808 VIP car scene a bit. The Hawaii Import Scene is fairly tight, so even if we haven't met personally we usually always have mutual friends. Good Stuff!

One of the few times a new member posts a proper looking car off the bat.
Personally i am starting to hate the JP accessory crap as everyone with VIP baller aspirations gets them instead of dancing neons.
Funny enough even a Fusa an tsuna are barely seen in VIP whips in VIP mags , it is mainly a western worlds view of VIP that they are the basics.

It looks better without them as it is a nice simple car.

Ye, the moment I saw them I knew they would work well with the finished product I had in mind. Idk if this is completely valid, however..from my own observations, full faced wheels work well with full aero. By full aero I mean big lips. From a design POV it really balances out the architecture of the car. Again it's just an observation, but I think it's true!
