custom air suspenion q45

I was looking for some advice on redoing my q45 air suspension. i made my own from easystreet universal kit  and just cut knuckles away from shock part and rewelded everything together. problem is the new shocks blow and clank like crazy on rebound! nothin i can do about it. im looking into buying universal set of coilovers and doing same thing in fronts again and welding them to cut knuckles. has anyone done this and have any advice. thanks

this seems to be a question asked by many members with the Q and M , from what i am seeing with the cutting and the welding and spending a lot of money for some thing that you have to  fab and  work that you have to do :pat:-i am sure that 80% the other members that have the infiniti will tell you spend the money on air runner and you will never to worry:slap: ...
 
i have seen some guys buy a lot of stuff and the money goes to waste , save you coin for the real deal ....:tmyksg8:

Problem is Air runner sucks for a drop for the fixed knuckle Infinitis.  Best bet is to save and buy coilovers and UAS if you want a real drop and the ability to drive LOW.

the cutting and fabbing doesnt cost any money, just the components to make it work. i already made my own and theyd be great if it wasnt for the stupid clanking shocks that are out of my control to fix.  i would love to buy some junk coilvoers that still have good shocks and top hats. i do not need the springs but unfortunanently i havent found a set at a reasonable price yet. air runner is to expensive! you get really nice struts but the rest of kit is pretty basic for what u pay for. ive heard the air runner is just kyb sr shocks with firestone bellow bags and im currently exploring this route
