hey all, Cima VIP

Hey guys, Recently aquired a 1997 Fgdy33 cima GT VIP spec here in NZ.

Has all the nice stuff, All leather interion, reclinable rear seats, Active suspension which i purchased a height controller for, 18x9 and 18x10 work equip wheels.

Have alot more to do, got a set of coilovers coming from japan around september, JC project lip kit due to arrive anytime soon also, Cusco Front tension arms up front, Will get some s14 rear camber/toe arms at some stage also.

She runs the vh41de, Goes good but wish it had more down low. Will get some more pics some time soon. thanks

the usdm ones dont adjust the height only the damper setting. So you are able to adjust the height like the Lexus LS models do?

yes and no...
you can have your car lowered up to 100mm of the ground and be legal, but if you go lower, it needs to be certified...but most of certifiers wont let you go too low...
but every one has different experience...i know of a mate that didnt pass a cert with coilovers and being 80mm of the ground... and other guy passed with flying colors 50mm of the ground... go figure lol.

and cops over here go hard on modified cars... plus every 6months we have to go for warrant of fitness, something that you US guys dont have(well only every few years)
