That is clean! I am one of the people who doesn't hate the r class. I have driven the v8 one and it feels exactly like a mercedes does inside and drives exactly like a mercedes does. I was actually going to use the R class bumper for a while to make a custom bumper for my GS but never got around to it.
Their is nothing anyone can do to make the R class look clean it is fugly beyond belief right up there with the PT cruiser. Worst failure of a Mercedes ever , thank god they no longer deal with Chrysler to make that pacifica crap a Benz.
Worst failure of a Mercedes ever
Really?

Who wants a Benz with Cloth Seats.... The R class is clean. If you have to push a Minivan might as well be a Benz!
.... . If you have to push a Minivan might as well be a Benz!
You probably just knocked on alot of people building Previas, Odysseys and other vans with that statement:pat: Thats like saying if you're going to push a luxury car might as well be a Benz!
needs to be slammed. clean tho
looks good but needs a good slam!!!!
Yeah, you just knocked me!! Now I have all this ish for my build and you're telling me Im driving the wrong minivan.....
THATS PRETTY CLEAN. GOOD STUFF.
seen this thing in person and it is clean as fcuk. don't see too many of these fixed up.
Isn't this car the same platform as some kind of american car? I forgot which. Chrysler Pacifica?
Most importantly, is Antbo's cousin hot?
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ I love it when someone else says what I'm thinkin... thanks for doin the dirty work

In Europe and Japan you almost never see cars w/ leather besides the top models and even those are available with cloth. Only in America is everyone all leather-eyed and somehow cloth = cheap. If I could easily get a cloth interior like the Cima's come w/ in Japan I'd take it over leather any day. Leather does absolutely nothing for me. Leather in the bedroom is a different story :runcoold: That R class, I always thought has loads of potential, looks really good. Needs to go about an inch lower and it's perfect. You have your own version of a mini bullet train w/ that sucker.

Damn you Mercedes you fooled me with that one. Very nasty Joke.

quickie Rclass is nice, very smooth and quick for it's class. I took one up to vegas only thing i really dislike are the uncompfortable headrest and the back seats .

Having said that...I have to agree that it is one of the worst efforts ever put out by Mercedes.
this is a clean ass r class...i have seen it in person and is put together very nicely. it looks dope in person and even doper while its rolling....i would rock it any day
Mercedes-Benz's sister-company, Chrysler, already has a vehicle rather like this called the Pacifica. But the two share no components and they're really very different from one another. The Pacifica, while it also drives nicely for a vehicle of its size, is more minivan-ish in shape and SUV-ish in driving character than the R-class.
While the R-class is four inches longer than the Chrysler Pacifica -- and it has a 10-inch longer wheelbase, making for a wider turning circle -- the R-class is much easier to manage in a crowd than it's wide-hipped, narrow-windowed cousin
That looks awesome bOosty! For a wife / family car, that R-class is sweet. But then, I like the whole mini-van carry lots of people in comfort and style thing. edit: from CNN.com
Mercedes-Benz's sister-company, Chrysler, already has a vehicle rather like this called the Pacifica. How lame they try to pass a nice azz Mini Van like this off as a SUV.. They have the controller/air module for this on the Bay...
if they can drop it like that...hmmm.i never looked at them this way before...... Shall I say it... Kind of like it....
An R350 here in Indonesia is over $100,000 which immediately puts it at the top end of the minivan food chain. In fact only big time bosses' wife, lawyers' mistresses and socialite soccer moms buy them. I took one for a test drive during a "mercedes driving experience" class and I was very very unimpressed by it. But then again, I was pushing it to its limit on a closed circuit and we got to test its character on wet/ice simulated condition, etc. Can't expect too much from a minivan. Other than that, for city driving and running errands, it seems like the perfect car. The price is ridiculous though. And I am still waiting for antbo's cousin's pic..... (yes, I will do the dirty work hahahah)
Siiiick I love it I think the R-class is a good looking vehicle, even stock, but I can see how it's a love-it or hate-it design. Vaguely Verossa-like hahah
arent the R-class vans really fast ??? so i've heard..
The C class was a major victory for MB to attract the younger crowd it was not getting. Its sales volume was spectacular and brought the market in the doors to upgrade. I worked for MB during both releases and the caravan cornered better than the R on a track and the B Class blew its doors off. I do think the C was not the best looking but it worked for its purpose the R has horrible sales and looks. That pic does make it look better but like the saying goes its just polishing a turd. The cloth thing has already been mentioned as what people demand not what is perceived as luxury.
