Where do you buy your LED bulbs?

So i bought a crapload of white 194 LED's for my gauge cluster from superbrights led's, installed them in my cluster and it looked very nice. Awesome bright, made the red of the needles stand out a lot and the cluster looked like defi gauges. Very nice and bright and shiny :D ...






until after a  week. One light started to flicker... then another... and another... another went out althogether... till only 1 was on. 

Out of the 9 led's on the cluster, 1 standed more than a week before I removed them and tried blue tinted incandescent 194... which FAIL miserably specially after seeing how bringt LED's can be.

My question is: where can I buy GOOD QUALLITY LED bulbs? I am never buying anything from super bright; they failed miserably.

Without knowing the specific details it sounds like they burned out due to improper install or improper design.. like they were getting too much current.

many people on other forums recommended me vleds as well. Even tough he is a bit more pricey I will give him a go since so amny people recommend it. Will post pics before and after

Don't waste your time with cheap LED's.  They burn out fast and are unreliable.  Spend the little extra you'll be glad you did.  I went through ~3 pairs of LED bulbs for my license plate before I learned this.  Having one burn out in your cluster is the height of pain in the ass.

dude I've mentioned it on a thread somewhere on here last week that Superbrightleds.com sucks.   I think I even mentioned it a year ago on here but don't remember.  I had the same things happen to my 194 bulbs.  Freakin all crap.   I got some from LEDMOD.com and they are VERY bright and lasted a long time...still going.

I'm thinking about updating my interior bulbs to LED's too. The gauge cluster lights in my W210 are dealer only with no option of LED replacement.  But I can replace dome lights, door lights, ashtray lights and Mercedes has "courtesy lights" which are located below each air vent. They are a pain to replace, but worth it once their done. I've got to get a list together for this project and order them through ledmod.com.

I bet you you can do the gauge cluster, but it will take some work and on a benz I wouldn't want to since it may throw codes etc etc...

+1 on autolumination. Got some for the hvac and still performing well. More than 8months. 
If you do 194's, Luxer 1 LED's are great. I got a set for the license plate and its been more than 2yrs. Still running.

so is it hit or miss with these led on going out?

1/2 of the LED lights that came were low output, 1 did not work.  subsequently, it broke. 

I contacted them and was offered at best after a series of emails 1/2  off a replacement bulb.

they also charge $3.50 for shipping.  

I later found better quality and better prices simply  by going to  amazon.com

For those of you that have touchy systems - these are great. I've gone through like 4 different LED 194 bulbs and they threw error codes. Finally I was referred to these guys and they are truly "error free" LED bulbs. Built in resistors.
