Anyone try F50 Q45 Seats in a Y33 Q45?
Its been a pain to find decent condition seats and not really trying to sit in these seats anymore feel a bit uncomfortable. Always like the F50 Q45 seats felt more comfortable and these days seems you can find them being parted out everywhere. Figure the hardest part would be installing the Rear seats. Anyone try?

I've been looking to find cool seats from another Infiniti or another luxury car to put into my car. The problem is keeping the heated seats and memory option. I search on ebay, craigslist, and Nico.

there parting one out in Norcal seen it on CL and ebay is usually parting out F50s pretty hard to find decent Y33's usually there all beat to death or smashed beyond recognition. lol.
As far as measurements I would need the width of the Rails inbetween and length. And the Cushion width the height dont matter on the seats and as far as the heat or memory option figure read how the regular wiring works if theres just a direct power and ground wouldnt be hard to splice or fit to the factory Y33 setup. I am just sick of the interior reminds me of a i30 seats too Square and doesnt really feel comfortable.

I'm 6'2, 200# and find the stock Y33 seats among the most comfy I've ever sat in, and yes, I've driven F50 Q's as well. Not that I wouldn't mind updating to a different color or style, but to me, the Y33 seats are excellent.

I tired of my seats because one side of the drivers seat is worn because I bought my car from a fat guy. So when I drive, the bottom half of my body is slanted towards the door.

Qfour5 pm sent. I like the Y33 seats also but the leather after almost 12 years is hard and rough to me no matter what i try. Finding replacement seats or a different color interior from a Y33 is pretty hard cause usually its the same BS to me. Also the main reason is its not that hard to find and I wanna try get the rear adjustable seats to work

Cut off both of the seat brackets on the bottom and weld the old q bracket/frame to the new q seat frame. That way it'll use the exact same mounting points and will bolt right in.

Grundel was actually thinking of doing that so I wouldnt have to weld anything to the floor panel. Just trying to make sure it will fit before I end up buying them so need a measurement of the width of the bottom cushion and the width in between the brackets. So aslong as they arent far apart I can weld around the same area or just mc guyver something close enough.

^ Sounds like you got the right idea. You never ever want to weld seats to the floor panel unless its a race car, even then I would not suggest it. If you ever had a seat motor fail or wanted to reupholster your seats you would be SOL.

I've also thought about about Jaguar seats.
