vi air compressor problem! help!

so im turning on my car and i hear the compressor struggling to turn on and then it pops the fuse thats running the power to it.. does anyone know what should i do? i popped a total of like 15 100 amp fuses... if anyone can help it would be great!!! help asap! thanks in advanced..

check ur power n grounds to compressor first....   might be having too much resistance causing high amperage draw..  
 
make sure all wires goin to pump is strong and not skimpy and loose and corroded.. 
 
get a volt meter and make sure ur getting full battery voltage to pump...

When this happened to me, the piston ring had slid out of position and jammed the cylinder. I had to rebuild it. Hopefully this is not the problem for you.

piston ring of the compressor? might as well buy a new one! lolz.. well i dont think its that.. because after i turn off the car and back on a couple times its switches on..

It can come from a few things but all is from the motor being overworked.
1 it may have rust or grime in the pump . try adding a few drops in the inlet of air tool oil to help lube it up. It is a dry pump so do not use much.
2 disconnect the leader hose from the pump to make sure it is not blocked. The one way valve may be stuck and could use some oil to free it.
3 another blockage somewhere else after the pump.
4 pump broken internally

wow didnt know it could be all that.. i just thought it could be the ground .. dang.. now i have to check all that.. thanks!

well i checked it out today... it turned out to only be the loose ground that i had found... thanks for all the help guys

What was bad about the ground?
That should pop a fuse unless it was shorting.

that shit was just super loose
