Re: Canover Air any good

Canovers are made with air cylinders and there are pro's and con's with everything.

The good part about an air cylinder is, the range of travel it has from fully defated to fully inflated (it's about twice as much as an average air bag). The bad part is (IMO) that it doesn't have any dampers to control rebound. This means that if there is not enough air in the cylinder, it will bottom out. And with too much air, it will feel like you have solid pipes for a suspension. But I have friends with cylinders, and they tell me that the cylinder seems to have a "sweet spot" where it feels like a regular suspension.

Re: Canover Air any good

It depends on which car your putting it on. If the car has McPhearson suspension the Canover system will work great for you. They use our bags to slide over the struts

Most likely its thier cylinders. They typically push the cylinders for all the non mcphearson applications.
