Turbo on previa?

is there any way to boost a previa? how would it work would i just take the supercharger off and slap the turbo in its place?

sorry i just want big boost

um also another thing what manual transmissions are bolt up?

im pretty sure you can upgrade find a good shop and do alot of research....check out some of there forums.....

theres is always do it yourself......if you got the skills you can costum fab one up...but how fast are you really looking to go in a VAN...? really would it be worth it...?

well my plan is to drift this thing eventually.

wow you might need a motor swap i need some big power to drift a van in big turns.....why dont you go with nos hooked up to the pedal.....

Look into STS turbo.

I actually put my Egg Sideways a couple of times (intentionally).  The additional power would help but the stock SC Egg did not have any problem kicking out the rear end.  I believe that a couple of my Friends even took a Non-SC Egg up Tantalus and was able to Drift it.

definetly looking up STS turbo. umm i foudn a few manual previas on ebay for sale cheap! ummm i saw some video on youtube with some ill estimas drifting ebisu but i cant find it anymore idk where it is

I would just focus on boosting the 2TZ-FZE.  It's a big 4, and it's already designed for boost, to an extent.  Should be good for 300+ whp.  Figure it out, and then tell me.  :)

ok well im working with a non turbo :/ engine fml so theres a few thing i need like a picture of a supercharged setup on the previa engine. and a manual compatible with the engine. i saw a few manual previas on ebay and if i had the money id be buying them.

If your direction is Drifiting the Egg I would recommend that you don't waste your money on the Automatic and get the Manual and spend the monies there.  It is not that you can't drift an Auto (mine is) just think that if you are going to be dropping that much money into your engine and your plans are to Drift......go Manual.  Believe me, I understand that money is tight, selling your current Egg and picking on of those Manual Eggs is what I would recommend.  Just my .02 cents.

Good point, LSD is a must!!  Not sure if there are any direct swaps.

anywho.. just find someone that does custom fab.

get manual egg...in order to convert auto to manual, there is a chance u have to drop the motor abit in order to fit the shifter cable.....remember the shifter in between the two front seats!......for lsd i think there is some aftermarket ones...but they r in japan.....for tranny.....u can try to find tacoma or 4runner manual gearbox because for my s/c....the tranny code is a340e....which is same as tacoma and 4runner.....good luck on your turbo-ing your egg.....keep us updated!

there is manual rwd previa in canada....not sure about US.....in canada, u can find some 92 models with stick.....

well is there anyway to find me a manual 2wd drivetrain from one up there?

I've been told there is a supercharged manual AWD Previa in Australia, at least the guy who told me knew one that was being put together.  
I've been toying with the idea of grabbing a local awd manual Tarago(Previa) and sticking a turbo on it for years, actually looked seriously for one until I realised the awd manual is very rare and most have HUGE kms on them.
