Caliper Swap Q

Hey guys, I recently found a front set of 4 piston front calipers off a hyundai genesis, I currently have a Hyundai Azera that runs single piston calipers. I was wondering what goes into a caliper swap or if its really worth it. I am hoping these parts are somewhat interchageable seeing as how bout cars do share some of the same parts i.e. the 3.8 v6. Any imput would be greatly appreciated!

Just gotta check to see if your Knuckle is the same as a Genesis but either way brackets dont cost that much to make just takes some measuring and hardware. I would check to see if the part numbers are the same for the knuckles.

No idea what that came from but you get the idea outer bolts usually are for the Knuckle where then you would have the inner holes tapered to bolt the caliper too. Remember Lock tights + spacers cause the bolts might run too long. Just find a CNC machine place but your gonna have to take measurements and probally draw something up for them.

When I swapped LS430 brakes into my GS300, the shop had to fabricate a new set of brackets for me.

I also had porsche brakes on my Honda Fit as well. As long as the shop is comfortable and is equipped to do the conversion, it's not really rocket science. Brakes is brakes. Just make sure they use good metal that don't bend/warp/break for the brackets. Otherwise, it will be 4th of July under your wheel well... ;)

Everything else is the same.
