Well I finally got the rest of my kit on. Thought I'd share with the rest of the community...Next up is ding removal.
Thanks to Jimmy for showing up to the meet on Thursday and shooting some awesome photos.

Looking good, looks like some spacers could make it look even better...along with a custom euro front plate. I'd also try finding some fogs that better fit the kit, maybe some projector fogs form the W203. They are close in shape to that (shown on our W203):

Nelson, your car is looking better and better. A lot of people like the flat emblem on Mercs, but I'd like to see yours with the normal one. I love looking out my window and seeing the narcasistic nazi gun target :o)

Thanks fellas, I've got some side pics coming soon. As for the Europlate - I'm on it already, don't trip. I'm just holding off till my custom Cali plates get in. Expected sometime in October. I allways thought it was a wise tail about where our license plates come from but I called DMV to check on the status of my plates and the representative told me "Mr. Nelson, the boys at Folsom are stamping them now - keep in mid it can take them up to 4 months to complete your order. Both plates will read LOEKLAS. The Euro ones however will have the funky German font w/ two dots above the "O" and the "A"

Yeah, one of the things I'm not too please with about the kit is that the windows for the fogs are different debths so one sits flush and the other looks like it's pushed in...Good lookin' out elpres, I saw a set of Lexus ES fogs at a junkyard going for like $100, was thinking about fitting them in. They're Yellow ION projector ones off like an early or mid 90's model. But I do like the ones you posted - uniform color.
LED blinkers didn't work at all in my front blinkers and Polarg superwhites look weak up against 8ks so I went back to an amber bulb =( not too bad though as the amberblinker & 8k contrast is alright, I'm just used to the "superwhite" clean look...fogs will have to wait eithier way though - I just got a smokin' deal on a BRABUS muffler, I gotta get some nasty dings pulled and a tune up.

Nice, reminds me of Mode Parfume. The one thing I would change is to put a harder edge on the front rub strip. IMO it gives the bumper a "jellybean" kind of look.

It's looking better and better Nelson. Just an idea...Get some wind deflectors/rain guards for the windows, and paint them the same silver as the car...it might take it up a notch! I think they're only $100US and change from a few custom sites.

...thanks fellas, it's aahwrite, little ruff around the edges and what not...the pics actually smooth out the blemishes LOL, but then again, what do expect w/ a 10 year old daily? I assume it'll need new paint once I'm done modding. As for the window deflectors, I don't know, good idea, but I do feel you on color matching them. I like that look a whole lot more than just the smokie ones.

No bags, that's ride hiegt, going lower this week (swappin to a thinner spring pad) I'm on cut coils. Drop spring were a tease/would have had to cut a coil anyways so I sold them and cut my stocks. I do need new shocks, but thinking I should just get coil overs, cut a coil all around and crank them all the way down. Need spacers too, at least on rears, but we'll see after I get a #1 pad on rears how much room there is to play with.

Looks great. I can't believe Mandrus discontinued those wheels, they were the only ones from then that were distinctive.
What shocks are you going to use? Bilstein shocks get rave reviews for their mercedes applications. Especially since you cut the stock springs. I know a guy with a w126 who cut his springs and his bilstien shocks and says they are phenomenal.

I've heard the same until today - I read that Koni yellows are supposed to be top notch. He said he blew out every other shock on the market, but his Konis have been going strong for 5 years. But yeah, I have heard nothing but good things about Bilstein sports - until today, but then again, that's A LOT of good reviews from A LOT of people over a long period of time compared to ONE person's expierience. The independent suspension in these cars is pretty impressive, nothing like it was back in the day running cut coils on Hondas bouncing all over the road, although in all honesty there is a little too much travel room, looseness, needs to be tightned up, but then again luxury rides kinda float anyways, I like a tighter, choppier ride myself.

Thats how I see it. What car was it in that the bilstiens got a unfavorable review? The thing with the bilstiens is that they tend to be the same as most shocks until you get into the 3,500+ weight range where they really shine.

Suposedly on a w210, although his current ride is a clk. I read it over on myMB this morning under a thread titled "need the car lower" Thanks for the input, I'll most likely be going the Bilstien sport rout...then maybe coilover w/ 1 coil cut, or hold off for juice or baggs.

Seeing as how your car is satisfyingly low as is I would wait for juice or bags. Unless you work on your suspension yourself its not really worth the cost of doing stuff over and over again when you know what it is that you want (bags/juice).
I learned that lesson after my shocks/springs to coilovers experience. Too much cash spent on hold over mods ya know?

No, it is not supposed to be all jankie, waivie like that, I'm just gonna force a few more screws in there and rig a weatherstrip over the screws (or something over them to camo them) But yeah, that part is wack, it wasn't like that when I bought it. I dropped it off for paint, came back like a week later to get it bolted on and there was that issue AND the fact that my front tires were pretty much touching the inner fender part of the bumper ...so we had to adress that first so I could drive out of there LOL...I'll post some more pics here with that part corrected shortly, just waiting for the debadge, custom plates and rear spacers...and maybe a few other goodies. If you are looking for kits, Wald is really the way to go, but they don't sell kits piece by piece. I got side skirts first, then the rear bumper lip, then the front bumper...other reason I didn't get a Wals kit is beacause I really wanted the "v2" kit they made, but unfortunately they discontinued it and destroyed the mold.
-thanks fellas

hey Nelson, I came across a good deal on the same TSW wheels on Clist for $500....but they are 18"s. I think they might be on the small side but I know the comfort will be better. How is your ride with the 19"s? I mean for $500 it's a steal but they might be too small for our wheel arches.

If they are the Holstens, get em, they are a full faced wheel and the holstens are concaved with no lip - they'll look bigger. Ride comfort is fine on 19s, everyone said that upsizing from a 16 to a 19 would be harsh...not true at all, rides fine. If you don't move on those I might consider. Full faced wheels look good on the w210, or ANY Benz IMO. There is a set of 19s for sale on another forum right now but dude want a grand, they do come with tires, but he has them on a BMW and says they'll fit a 5x112 with wobble bolts, I have no expierience with wobble bolts, don't lke the sound of them though LOL. Good find man, I'd move on them bro, 18s will allow you to get a little closer to the ground too:dance:

I'm gonna check these TSW/Mandrus wheels in person this week. From the pics they have a larger lip than yours. I'll take some better photos and post them. For $500 I want to see the condition though but they don't come with tires. He says they are in excellent condition. 18" tires are much cheaper than 19"s, but I worry that they will look too small on our cars.

Oh, ok, so they are the same wheels. Yeah, Mandus is a line of wheels made by TSW for our cars, I thought you meant they were the TSWs that look like the Mandrus emil...TSW Holsten.LOL, If they are Mandrus emils then they may have a largerr lip, only on the rears though. Originally I wanted to run the rears on all for corners, but the shop said they wouldn't even attempt to fit the rears up front. I thought it would have worked out with a little roll/pull of the fenders and maybe some streched rubber, but oh well. Everyone I know runs a staggered set up on Benzs so I wanted something a little different. Good luck with the purchase.

I thought it would have worked out with a little roll/pull of the fenders and maybe some streched rubber, but oh well. Everyone I know runs a staggered set up on Benzs so I wanted something a little different. Good luck with the purchase.
-thanks for clearing that up about the wobble bolts.

I'll take some photos when I see them. He's got all the lugs and center caps which is nice. My stock center caps on my 10 year old 16" wheels are in bad condition. Where did you buy your lugs from? He had these on an S-class so I don't think they are the correct lugs and you know about the stock lugs on the W210's.
I meant to tell you that I've got something you might be interested in. I got a second set of white gauges from a vendor a while ago by mistake. They just told me I could just keep them. Do you want the second set? If so, pm me your address. They are the decal kind and I haven't installed my set either. I'm thinking about it though. Anyways if you want the second set, it's yours.

Cool, that sounds like a hook-up. I'd move forward on them man. I'm thinking about picking up a set of 18s just to see how much lower I'll be, but sometimes I kinda want to run a 20 on the rears, kinda Ferrari style LOL.
As for my lugs, I got them at the wheel shop, they are made by "Gorilla" they're just a little longer and are a star like design, they come with a key to fit on the tire iron.
Damn, that's pretty cool of you, if you need me to pay shipping or whatever I'll be more than happy to do so. That's way cool of you. I'll PM you my info right now. Thanks Tabaka.

@ el pres, thanks, just stuffed some 25mm spacers on the rears and it looks/feels 100Xs better, will post pics once I address the fronts (probably 10mm) I got the Euro plate on the front bumper and it didn't look as good as I thought it would, trunks emblems have all been shaved, dings pulled. Is there another rear lower for your chassis that comes down a bit more? Maybe it's just that angle..but it just kinda makes the flow a little off... nahmeen? Haha, the 19/20 stagger actually seems to work for your car.

unfortunately, all of the rears are short like that except for the carbon creations and i don't really feel the way their kit looks. only option is custom. whole rear bumper needs to be reworked anyways so i've been researching. gets to me too, funky how there is a lip on the rear bumper, but not on the front yet they are pretty much level. thanks, still more tinkering to go with the rear fitment, still too blah.

thanks man, right back at you. love fullfaced wheels on benzs. it never fit right and in order to make it work it would have meant too much time, energy, money, downtime without my car, etc. plus i had a perfect opportunity to resurface my stock bumper.

thanks hella fresh. that picture pretty much says it all for me, lol. seen the lip kit on this e class SO many times. not a bad look, just been done. I'm thinking i'm going to pick up an oem front bumper and have it chopped right under the impact strip. the tricky part is deciding where the other bottom half is coming from. can't decide.
rear is going to get cut outs for side pipes or rig some sort of diffuser for the rear and run quad pipes... probably a real subtle one if i go the diff route - like an oem amg diffuser or something of the sort.

don't trip, i know someone with an e with an awd and he cut his coils. he's a tech at a benz dealer. I can get his contact info for you if you want. initially we cut 1.5 all around, then went back in and cut again, then again. Final count after fender work, spacers, and playing with tire sizes ends up at 2.5 (f) 2.75(r) for now. still on stock shocks too.

it's all good, i lost my phone number too, lol. is what they do to you when you don't pay your bill - will have a new number for you hopefully this weekend coming up.
was way cool seeing you! thanks man, got some more kinks to get out in terms of the fitment. rears are at bare minimum, would like to tuck the entire rear lip so the dish and rear fender arch line up exactly (think like an upside down shelf) fronts will naturally have to come down a pinch too. gotta pull the rears abit more as i'd like to squeeze another 15mm or so once i get it at that perfect low.
i stay irie eyed. we'll connect again for sure! hopefully sooner rather than later.

keeping the same wheels in the pic above for now. same wheel/diff specs.
...the ones fs are 19x8.5 all around with "1.25" inch lips. i took the 19x9.5 staggered rears and stuffed them up front with a 20mm spacer.
copped (2) 20x10's for the rears. 10mm spacer on rears.
...i got to run an inch wider wheel up front, .5" wider rear, more dish on all 4 corners and a 19/20 stagger. kinda awkward setup at first but i've got it just about dialed in. rear lip tucks just about to face of wheel and sidewall gap on fronts has been eliminated almost completely.
best of both worlds: fronts are pretty aggressive/or 'flushd and rears are tuck. still want to go out another 10mm or so out on the rears but need more pull as there is only 3-5mm clearance back there right now.
