Try 2: Cimaofdoom

So, new plan. traded hte laurelofdoom for the Cimaofdoom. 
Plans?
No fucking clue guys.
I put like 1200 in parts on the laurel, and they all went with it. Im selling hte 8j/9j wheels that were on the laurel when i got it. Installed some 18x9/10 +28ish emitz on it today, fit pretty well.  Car has springs on it now, ill be ordering coils like mondayish? maybe tomorrow, i dunno.
UAS kit should be here soon. when it is ill roll and pull the fender for a 10j +3 and 20mm spacer, and add on the arms to get my camber and stuff dialed in and hopefully should be good to go.
interior will have anticilion black leather shit first
then the new Garson Stuff, the one with DAD on it. along with all the other crap, matching mirror, curtains, pillows blah blah blah blah

picked up some Mode Parfume coilovers.....synopsis of the evening?
Get to the shop at 5, start working. Sway bar bolts wont come out, no problem, cut them in half and order new ones. get them bolted on, go to put in brakes...holes are too small. must be y32, and they mislabled it....fuck it. got this far just waller them out. Couldnt find a drill to hold hte 13.5mm bit needed.  an hour later they come back with a drill that holds it. Find out it is just shy of big enough. so, my car is on a lift, front suspension in, and i go to hook up the tie rods...cant get the nut all the way down. fuck it, go to the tension rods. yeah...too long now with the shortness.

So what did i get accomplished today?
My JP exhaust is on...and i have front coilovers connected at the LCA, and the tophat....fuck me.

so, suspension is on. its a DECENT ride height, not as low as id like, but nothing i can really do about it at this point. its not fun making a cedric suspension fit a cima. had to order some more parts for the rear knuckles or whatever.

car is done, so thats all that matters. just waitin gon UAS and ill be even closer

damn that vh41 sure sounds different than the 45's.
i like this build so far more than your last few to be honest. 
these 2tone jdm cimas are waaay classier than the US counterparts. i figure youll end up going aggressive styling again just please dont put pink n tan seats with crystals again =)

so, shot some video today for my how to project. rolled and small pull on teh fenders, mounting tires, etc etc etc.
rear wheels are on. 18x10 +3 w 5mm spacer right now. soon to be 20mm. fits with no aftermarket arms. when i get a whole day, and my air comes in, ill throw on the 20mm spacers, all three arms, and slam it. fronts are going on tomorrow 10+10ish i depending on clearance maybe less. shes sittin perty

i MIGHT be going hydros. im ironing out some detail. but its not much more than a UAS kit for a setup, so i might sell the UAS kit i got from EM and get hydros.

not a definate yes or no yet. im still talking with hydrohaulics to see what they can do. if they can iron out a bolt in setup that i dont have to weld up, then ill get it

well i was, but now im not. really its th huge range of adjustment. from slammed to 8 inchs off the ground and shit. even with air, im limited on where i can go because i drive super low on air unlike most people. so that limits my max height.

but, since im staying in japan for 4 more years, im not doing hydros so i can pass inspection easier

There's a gap of black screen till like the last few secs that's like a couple mins long? Looks exactly like how I roll fenders and do slight pulls though.

i dont do flare. i just do pull. to pull it more, you just do it the same way but with more pressure.
flare doesnt give you clearance, it just makes your fender look dumb

Nice job on the vid Grant.  That really shows how much fun it is.  Constantly making adjustments as you move around the radius of the fender.  Takes a lot of patience which I don't have lol

He is hammering the inner fender lip up against the fender. From there, the roller rolls it flat. 
 
You can leave the fender as is after hitting it up with the hammer but if you need every mm you can get for clearance, then you should finish it with the roller like in the video.

my way is using a big pipe while driving back and forth.. and for more just get a few ppl to sit on the fender well make more pull... but that cracks the paint and looks horrible... then u can bondo or fiberglass it and paint

$300 for a fender roller is probably cheaper than fixing the results of that technique...

Yeah, the toyota cavalier is actually pretty cool. Had a bunch of factory coolness options that the US never got like really decent looking factory aero, factry lowering springs and wheels, wing, blah blah blah. Basically toyota bought the rights to produce it in japan, and built a bunch of them. mostly coupes but some 4drs too.
