i think maybe you're confusing the term dish with lip -- my understanding is that dish is used to refer to wheels with concavity on the face, while lip obviously refers to the lip (haha).
you're also going to have haters telling you that you can't "vip out" a maxima or whatever. just build the best car that you can, with the best fitment that you can squeeze out and the lowest ride height possible, and don't worry about any labels.
good luck!

First off, just to clarify...lip IS dish. Dish is just a slang term to identify wheels with more lip..as in "deep dish" wheels...yes, it's a pizza reference. Haha...
As far as a "vip Maxima"..no, it well never be. BUT, it can be vip styled or inspired. The part about fitment/stance/ride height..I agree with completely. Build what you like and be happy with your car. I build my cars for me, if people like it then cool...all that really matters is that I like it. Just try to make it as tasteful as possible for a more unanimous vote...

i think the vienna nobles would look nice.
you are never going to get 'crazy' dish on a FWD, so just take time to choose a wheel that looks really nice and classy to set it apart e,g, not those Vertini things, theyre common looking.
gl with it

Vienna Noble x3 on this car
09 Maxima is a sick car, would look awesome slammed with awesome fitment.
Personal suggestion for wheels though is something like the Fenice AL1 19x9 all around, with spacers.

thanks for your input guys, i appreciate it alot. and yes try to make it vip inspired as possible. my car looks very similar to this one color and all. is it possible to make a vip inspired grey car? as far as the nobles, its a very sexy rim but might not be considered because i know of a guy with a g35 with those rims and i dont want him to feel that i bite his style. is there anything similar to the nobles? i seen the vellano vsb in a six spoke but still doesnt compare.

#1 or #3, I'd lay that thing on the floor first, too many people in my area have those cars 4x4 status on bling dog wheels and chrome trim all over the car and fender vent stickers - makes me sick...sorry for the rant, just my .02:pat:

What's up????? Just to clarify, the angle of the picture does not really show the flush fitment that well. The rear wheels are actually flush with the fender line, front maybe 1 mm (if that much) tuck. When I get better pics I will post.

I did a little research and read several articles that indicatedd that the 08-09 Altima and the 7th Gen Maxima shared THE same chassis. Exact same. I noticed that Ksport listed a similiar model number for each car. When I got my order, the box indicated for 08 Altima. I had sales rep call Ksport and they revealed that both cars used exact same coilover. Weird thing is they ask $100.00 more if you order the Maxima version. Strange. Found that out AFTER I made purchase. But since I got a killer deal, I did not whine over the $100.00 Setup was straight bolt-on. My rear wheels are at about 2.5 - 3 degree negative (mostly natural) camber. Platinum VIP said they were limited to how much they could camber the rear because of the front wheel drive configuration. I guess rear suspension a FWD hoopty alllow for limited adjustment. If you have any questions about specific setup on my car, please call Kennedy @ Platinum VIP (
http://www.pmvip.blogspot.com/). He will answer questions for a small donation. LOL J/K
