Stay with coilovers or go with bags?

Here's my dilemma, there are some places I just can't get into. I'd love to raise my car up when I see a speed bump or something, but most places I go to I'm fine since I try to find out how the parking area is beforehand, but sometimes it's all a surprise.

The issue I have is this...currently I'm at -3.5 camber on coils in the rear and want to lower the rear more but can't because the lip of the wheel hits the fender sometimes right now. I'm going with a stiffer coilover setup and adding toe arms to get another degree or so of camber.

If I decide to go with bags, my camber will have to go back to -3.5 since it uses the spring bucket, and that means taking out the toe arm since it replaces the spring bucket.

Another issue is my front bumper, I really don't want to crack it again. It's currently cracked in 4 places, some of it has to do with not angling enough and trying to force getting into a driveway, I guess I just have to suck it up and park even further.

Just wondering what you guys would do if you were in my situation? I really want bags, but I'm leaning towards staying with coilovers, mainly because the car will have a sick stance and I can use that few grand towards paying off my car or other mods.

looking to an air suspension set-up for your car, im sure you will be happier with it. being able to raise and lower your car on demand when you roll up on a killer speed bump or parking structure.

Is it worth having to drive higher? I'll have a wheel gap while I drive probably since I can only camber it so much in the rear.  If I could get the wheels to tuck more without going with a less aggressive offset, I would definitely do bags.

why not get Cups? Cups are a metal cup that sits on top of coilovers and fills with air to give a few inches of lift when you need it, otherwise you just drive round at your low height with coilover stance and handling.
 
Cups often end up costing a fair bit, as in some people question why not just get bags, but they are an alternative if you really prefer the "static" nature of a coilover setup but with the ability to riase a few inches for driveways/specific obstacles.
 
if i had the cash, i'd certainly be going cups since i am happy with my stance in general but it would just let me go an inch or so lower (or run a kit) without worrying too much.

I thought about cups but as you mentioned they're highly expensive and I would figure better to just buy bags. There's a new company the shop I go to is dealing with for coilovers and I think they are making cups so I'm going to see what their price will be. If not too expensive, I'll go that route, but somehow I doubt it.

I love the set up I have and wouldnt drive coils any longer with the places I go , Bags bro

i would go cups too. less noise, smoother lifting and drop

imo if you have the cash to go either way, there should be no question on which way to decide...

I say bags or a hybrid setup of both:biggthumpup:

bags ON coils.....still the best setup IMO

Again the reason why I dunno about the bags is that I would have to ride with a lil gap between the tire and fender because it would hit the lip of the wheel, but when dropped all the way down at shows, the fender will sit on the lip.

If I do go with bags, it will be on coils (UAS).
