Wheel fitment question

I was looking at some wheels that are 19x9+18 and 19x10+22 and was wondering is this a nice size to run on a y33? I know Dark Anghell has some that are +20 and they seem to be the "perfect" fit. I was just curious to what you all thought and didn't want to make the same mistake twice. Any and all feedback is welcomed as I don't take things personally :knuppel2:

Re: Wheel fitment question

I I think it will look good. I was looking into some 19X9+10 and 19X10+15 for my set up...but I mean that is so little of a difference that
would not look bad. I think once you make it under the +30 you are in the clear. Just depends on how aggressive you want it..The wheels
on my car right now are +38,,+40 and all though ITs not a VIP rim and not a super aggresive off set it still looks awsome in person
..I think most people jump into there first set of wheels and then realize that there is a much better wheek option..I am a victim
of this as well,,,oh well much better than the ugly stock 16's eaah..

What wheel are you looking into?

Re: Wheel fitment question

Those sound pretty good, except that +18 may be a little week. Hell, my +15 is pretty weak, but 18 is pushing it IMO. Perfect fitment to one person is not going to be perfect to another. I took alot of time doing measurements and I ended up with 19 x9 +15 and 19 x 10 +22, and it may not be extreme "VIP", but that's exactly what I wanted. Some will tell you it is WAY too weak and others, eh.......you catch my drift.

Okay thanks man, as for what wheel, all I'm going to say so far are that they're by Work :D And no they're not the DH.

Yeah, I know the weak fitment was going to come up, but I recall these similar sizes being ran by PMP-LEX on his car before he sold them and figured he wouldn't run weak fitments. Okay one more possibility what about 19x10 +11 19x11 +11. I'm wondering will those sizes fit without doing some fender work? Someone I talked to said after rolling the rear fender I should be fine, but what about 10s in the front won't they rub??

I'd go with those. You should be fine front and rear, but will need some fender rolling. Its also nothing a little camber can give more room.
