it's not a Vip platform but you can always do Vip Style. Welcome and have a look around. I think I saw a WRX with some killer fitment somewhere on here.

If your asking for personal opinions I would say its a complete waste of time. I had an '06 STi and there's nothing luxury or particularly comfortable about an Impreza.
There's lots of examples of nice Imprezas on Hellaflush or in this thread - http://www.iwsti.com/forums/gd-tires-wheels/110302-official-hellaflush-aggressive-fitment-thread.html

The sickest subies are the ones with the vip/euro inspired wheels and fitment, even if the rest of the car doesn't follow suit!

U don't usually see wrx's that low. Slot of times, the lower u go on those cars, the more stuff will wear very fast when driven hard

eh, thats the case with any car though. WRXs should stay with a sport look imo. just cause its low with flush wheels, doesnt make it vip. it seems like thats what is being implied.

no. no. and no.

you cant even really VIP "inspire" this car. there is nothing luxury about it. good, aggressive fitment doesnt mean VIP.

thanks for the views, but I do have one comment and that is there are cars on here I wouldnt call VIP i.e. small hatchbacks and MPVs (still cool looking I hasten to add) they arent luxurious in any sense to start with so whats different with an Impreza (no offence or arguments intended)

well first you have the sporty cars like your own and the hatch backs that again i would say cant be VIP styled. they can have spot on fitment, but that is more derrived from the euro scene.

then you have cars like mine, acura tl, that are luxury cars but not platform. I would call my ride VIP inspired but not vip style.

as for vans, i cant comment on they were generally accepted by the VIP scene.

Well... why?

If you want a car that Vip enthusiast are going to accept as Vip, then no, you can't Vip an Impreza.

If by Vip you just mean build it the same way people build Vip cars, then yeah, of course, you can do whatever you like, it might even look good.

It would be like trying to VIP a Mustang. You can have nice fitment but that's the closest you'll get to VIP and it's a long ways away.

A wrx can never be vip or vip styled. There is nothing wrong with flush fitment and low stance on a wrx. However, I can not grasp the basis of why everyone is so infatuated with classification. Gather your desires and see what you call forth. Good fortune in your future build.

Its all good , At least we still answer the questions ,

Inspiring it will get you killed in the wrx threads , But if you can some how pull it off props , I haven't seen a kit that would be subtle for it yet . If you have fitment down I am sure it can look nice ,

No pun for the owner I liked this hehe , way bigger shot for ya !

Why not just call it drift influenced? Its a very, very nice looking rexy but i dont see the vip connection/influence.... Sporty mesh wheels and no exterior chrome...

If you are talking about fitment, thats not a vip thing; its across car cultures.

Vip influenced i would be hints of luxury with wheels that would make performance purists angry about weight etc.

But I love the fact you continued the gold/blue theme with big lip wheels :)

fitment not a vip thing? isn't the essence of vipstyling all about fitment and stance?

id say give it a shot.....if youve got the vision.. its a done deal! I cant imagine it myself.. but i can sort of see it being executed. 1st thing is too get rid of all or anything taht shows any aggression/sport like the Wing/hood scoop. Wrx takes a low offset from what i can see, due to the stock overfenders, and has a huge aftermarket, and kits. I cant wait to see if its done!

Vip style requires good stance/fitment. But stance/fitment is not exclusive to vip, so the reverse corollary does not work.

Kind of like saying "You need 4WD to be a serious offroader", and then saying your WRX is a serious offroader because it has 4WD

^^^My goal is definitely not to VIP my wagon. That's what the Benz is for. I just think some of the choices I've made for mods has some VIP influence in them. I could have easily gone with the norm and got 18x8 +42 wheels but instead I choose something more aggressive 18x9.5 +19. To get the correct fitment the rear fenders are rolled, pulled, bodyworked and sti fenders and front end were added. I am NOT trying to VIP this car, I just think some aspects can applied to any car.

Those mods you did are the the same as what guys in the Euro scene do. As do the drifters, and the Hondas. Just having low offsets doesnt mean vip

You want to add vip aspects? Try > 5 degrees of camber, chrome accents, non-sporty rims, interior touches etc. Stuff that *only* vip style has, which would then make people think "oh thats like the vip cars"

Again, i am sure you feel this as an attack, but it isnt. Your WRX looks great and congrats from breaking the mold with aggressive fitment. But while i might look at your car on the street and say "damn thats hot", the word vip wouldnt cross my mind.

I'll redo my analogy for ya:
Kind of like saying "You need 4WD to be a serious offroader", and then saying your WRX is a offroader 'styled' because it has 4WD
