Camber and Space

Is there a standard relationship between amount of camber and the amount of clearance based on the camber? Basically, if I have 2.5 degrees of negative camber and my wheels/tires are flush how much clearance will I gain if I go to -3.5 degrees? does each degree of negative camber generally equal Xmm of additional clearance?

its my understanding that you gain around 5 mil per degree of camber

depends on chasis
some if you add camber, you add tons of toe. some not so much.
reduces clearance on the sides

Exactly, suspension geometry varies on every single car. Sometimes even on two of the same chassis.

Depends on a lot of things.

I started trying to find a fomula that calculates the distance the wheel lip moves for each degree of adjustment that is universal for any diameter, and pretty much had it, but I'm too dumb at math to finish it. Someone decent at trig could do it.

And suspension geometry doesn't affect the amount the top of the wheel moves in or out with camber. Only affects other things, like toe as Grant said, which in turn can change clearances.
