Nice Video grant!!
Just a few questions to clarify...
How long do you torch it? and is that a substitution to a heat gun?
And, so with that video..that is considered rolling and pulling?
New to this type of mod....but awsome vid!!!

torch it till you can barely keep your hand on it. that shoudl make the paint malleable enough to form it without cracking.
what i did was a roll and a slight pull. to do more of a pull, just keep the head at 90* and apply pressure

spewing i have 2GS with stupid holes in the fender lips... i got a shop to roll mine, not sure how he did it but got them around half flat front and sort-of U-shaped in the rear, again about half the size. but very slight dimpling there. I guess there is no way to avoid that hence everyone cuts on 2GS :-/ I need them rolled real flat so i can run some spacers heh. but cant afford panel & paint.
also my paint flaked off heaps under the lips where he rolled it, i jst touched it up no big deal, but is that cause he didnt get it hot enough? i thought it was cause he used hammer etc, but you did also and your paint didnt flake off all over the show...

Pretty bad ass , I wouldn't have thought a torch would have worked so well , As long as you don't get carried away work amazing and that was a fast ass pull and roll .
didn't think the hammer part either , I will let the friend know about that , shortened the time by ALOT,
Great addition , and yea I remember the haters make me famous lol

it could be because he didnt get it hot enough. I got it hot enough, and did it quick so i didnt have to reheat it. if you dont do it fast enough, it cools off and gets brittle again. Also if your paint is old, or a respray, the odds of it chipping are high.

Ahh..
Thank you for the explanation grant!!! Much appreciated.
Quick question again...with the torch, did you use a propane type? I have an Oxy/acetelne one and its burns at a much higher temp than a propane, will that be ok to use or would it melt the paint?
thank you again.

I'd just pick up a cheap propane unit... Not sure I'd want to hit my paint with oxygen/acetylene temperatures... Propane would give you more of a margin of error.

When I get some financial support from the community for the microphones
I already spent a good amount on equipment for this and I'm not reall wanting to spend anymore
I was tong to do two more videos and maybe more, but most likely not now
