225/45/18 or 225/40/18?
i'm running 235/40/18 on an 18x10 and 245/40/18 on an 18x11.5 right now, but i want to go narrower in the front. should i go 40 or 45 series? the 45 series matches the 245/40/18 almost perfectly in rolling diameter, but i don't know if it'll be too tall for a semi-legit stretch. does anybody have any side photos of such a setup? i checked tyrestretch, but the photos were pretty crap =X
thanks!

45 profile is pretty agricultural looking on 18s... Will make the wheels look small and it will be hard to ride flush up front (since the sidewall is quite tall, you will have issues rubbing on the top of the front wheel arch way before your rim is flush with the fender).
Stick with 225/40 up front, and possibly go to a 35 series at the back if you are concerned about keeping diameter the same

seriously 45 is a horrible look. its HUGE compared to a 40. If it were me, id run the 225/40 or a 235/35. both would work for you i think
