aren't those guys the same ones that are supposed to protect and serve us all? Comradery is one thing - that's just crooked. I hope dude's case get's dismissed over that, it ruffles a bunch of feathers and they all lose thier jobs.

They will get written up, thats for sure, getting fired is a little over board, but if they are already in shyt for something else they might get canned.

The case isn't going to be dismissed just because they were using his shit. Evidence of whatever the hell they were trying to get him with is still there as well as the case they built against him.

They were very unprofessional though.

Criminals do always complain about cops.
The criminal got his. His house got raided, more than likely he'll be convicted, seve his time and start over with zero.
while they were playing those video games (and NOT working) the other officers were pulling thier slack. In any work envioronment I'm sure there would be consequences for not doing your job.
Those cops wern't being too ethical on the job there, where is the moral?...makes me wonder what else they'll justify or rationalize because they are "on the company's clock"
-they should have been busy busting criminals instead of pulling dope fiend maneuvers themselves. Plus thier higher uppers co-signed thier B.S.
honest is honest and dishonest is dishonest. period.

I think stuff like this happends all the time. The only difference is that this time there was a video camera tapping the whole thing. I bet officers turn on the tv while doing raids. Or play video games, I could see some officers on raid playing rock band or something. I bet that a lot officers get away with it too. But now we know that if we have a camera in our house recording and the cops raid and play with our stuff that they will get in trouble.

Never said they weren't WRONG...but to "hope the case gets dismissed" because they did this AFTER the arrest is what is ridiculous.
