LED Tail Lights: 2000 LS400/UCF20 after m/c

Just got these in today from Japan and threw them on the LS400. Thought I'd share a couple photos, they look sick! Already upgraded to LED winker bulbs, plate bulbs and reverse bulbs. I'm fairly sure these are the only set in USA? These are the 172 LED units, not the stupid 26 led unit that are all over YAJ. Took quite a bit of digging to finally find these.

are they hand made by someone or actually all new units being produced?

Looks nice.  Lighting has been very over looked on this site.  I think it is very important especially now since most cars come with LED's and Projectors.  Good work

Congrats on the purchase. I would've picked up a set myself if they didn't have the clear edges. I really want the red edged led ones on the WALD car so my search continues.

Red edge? Just get some red film.  You can't tell the difference.  I tested it on my sisters ES300.  4 months later and she didn't even notice I did anything.  I cut the back up projectors out of my Y34 and put red out film over them and you wouldn't even know it was supposed to have back up lights.

Wald recently has been using various ebay or yahoo japan tail light options some with mild modifications so you can't tell at first.  Wouldn't surprise me at all if those were the same lights.

It's just that after paying $500+ for tails, I'd want them to not look so aftermarket without having to modify them.

^ I feel ya but for the amount of effort, money, and time (nearly nothing) you could have exactly what you want.

Believe me I know what you are saying though I've put some serious time and cash into my aftermarket W126 tail lights just to get them to not look like they are from ebay.

Where can I get a set?  I been needing some for a while now. They look great.

they look great, but how is the plastic quality?  Im just wondering because some have very thin plastic so not only will the sun fade the outside color, the bulbs inside will fade it from within.  Not cool to have bought tailights only to have them fade in a couple months.
