San Jose Heads...

wasup ya ll. I m in san jose I got a question, where is a good place to get get my tires mounted?

225/35/19 and 235/35/19 to go on 9" and 10" wheels

I m off 87 in South San Jose. My default location right now is wheel techniques but if anyone knows any other places can you please list them, I would like to see what my options are, thanks

i get my tires done at --- ----------. they cater more to honda and suby crowd, but they stretch and flip tires no questions asked, and are pretty cheap as well. they are a tuner shop, so they will take care of your rims.

exact motorsports is in milpitas. def a good cheap shop if you need work done, but they will NOT stretch tires and they dont have an alignment machine.

here's a tip - just show up with your wheel + tire combo. usually the tech won't check the widths out and just mount them, stretched or not (in my experience)

Well they are mounted here they are, not much poke-age which is good, I did not want the rim being exposed, maybe a little but not a lot. Tires are a little dirty...

lol 80 flat, yea he just wasn't sure, I think he goes based on what hes done before. I told em too, I was like now if someone else comes asking for that size u know its no problem, I could have probably done 215 and 225 but i m happy w how they came out, I might have to treat the edges a little bit, they have some light scratches. They are not like cuts into the rim but very light scratches which look like they will come off if I use some polish o something. What do you guys use to clean ur wheels?

Sorry to bring up this post back from the dead, but I figured better than starting a new one about the same thing.

Reading that tire outlet was skeptical on stretching your tires makes me a bit uneasy. I need a 205/50/15 stretched on a 15x10 for my miata.

ProjectGS3...can you guys do this at your shop?

And any suggestions on somewhere that can align my car after its done. The frame will be sitting like 2" off the ground...might be a little hard to get on a rack haha

Depending on where you're located. Call up Darwin from SonicMS 650-691-9000. He will be able to stretch your tire and align your car after. Their lift is tuner friendly =)
